After a few minutes of waking, the two finally get to a smaller apartment.

Mitch: I thought you ran away?

He asks, very confused.

Scott: I did. This is an old friend's place. He's letting me stay here with him and his girlfriend.

Scott responds as he unlocks the door. By this time it's about 11:57 pm.

Mitch: Then maybe I should just go...

Scott turns to face him.

Scott: You wanted a place to stay, hounded me about helping you, and said you needed me. Now do you want a place to sleep or not?

He smiles and nods.

Mitch: Yes, please.

Scott: We're not friends. So don't get used to this.

He says as he unlocks the door completely and swings the door open.

Mitch closes it after they walk in.

Scott: No need to be quiet. They're not here.

He snaps as he tosses the keys down onto the coffee table.

Mitch: Where are they?

Mitch asks, curiously.

Scott: Once again, that's really none of your business.

He snaps again. This time, sounding slightly more annoyed.

Mitch: Sorry...

Scott: Come on. I'll show you to your room.

Mitch follows him to his room for the night.

Scott: Here's your blanket and pillow. If you need anything, just holler...but..I'll be asleep. So don't need anything.

Mitch nods understanding as he holds his pillow to his chest.

Mitch: Got it.

As Scott turns to leave the room, Mitch catches him at the doorway.

Mitch: Wait!....Scott?

Scott stops, but doesn't turn around.

Mitch: Thank you...

It's silent for a bit. No one has ever told him 'thank you' or 'I need you' before.

Scott: Whatever...

He says then proceeds to his room.

As the two lay in different rooms, Mitch holds a pillow to his chest as he thinks of how to make Scott lighten up and like him.
