"what!" she shrieked, her eyes wide and filled with some emotion i couldn't yet figure out.

"yeah, i really don't want to get married to someone i don't know, yet love! and i just i don't like how the whole system is set up, it's messed up for both sides." i honestly told her as she nodded in agreement.

"i understand that finn, but my people and i have had years of training. you know how long it'll take for you and your friends to understand to just understand the concept of our training." she sighed, turning towards the window that had a peak of light shining through.

"then teach me." i told her as she turned back towards me.

"you're crazy." she spat, rolling her eyes as if she wasn't taking me seriously.

"i'm a quick learner." i beamed while she frowned.

"then prove it." she snarled, beginning to put her hair up into a ponytail before getting into stance.

before i knew it, she was throwing her leg, and then it landed into my side, causing me to let out a groan.

"now you do that to me." she informed me causing me to let out a gasp.

"hell no!"

"why?" she pouted, stepping closer to me. "you don't want to hit a little girl." her eyes grew wide and made her look innocent even though she wasn't at all, but i seemed to be falling into her little trap.

"n-no, i just i don't want to-" before i could even finish, she was roundhouse kicking me again and i was on the floor.

"fuck!" i yelled, quickly getting up and pinning her against the wall, ending with a little thud.

our breaths soon evened out but i continued to stare into her eyes, daring her to look away, and she soon did, extremely flustered, signaling a white flag.

"you win." she grumbled, plopping herself down, back on the bed.

"let's just get this training thing started." she

"but! not just me, all of my friends as well. if they don't want to, then they don't have to but i'll make sure to inform them about this."

"what if they rat you out?" she asked, disapproval set in her eyes.

"no, they wouldn't." i honestly told her, my friends may be rude at times, but mostly they were loyal and i was thankful for that.

"but-"

"trust me."

i walked alongside millie, as she was dressed in more proper, more put together clothing so she wouldn't be picked out on the streets and get in trouble.

"i don't feel myself." she grumbled, brushing off her clothing. she was wearing a white buttoned up blouse and a high striped black skirt. we were mostly required to wear uniform around here except during the summer cause that was our free time.

"i think you look adorable." i admitted but quickly regretted saying that as she seemed to be getting upset.

"i'm not adorable." she whispered, her cheeks flaming as she pulled a face, making her look even more adorable.

"put your hair in a ponytail." i whispered as i saw a deputy walking by with a distasteful look. she quickly pulled her hair back, giving a better look at her whole face.

as we continued to walk, guys that passed us continued to throw flirtatious looks millie's way but she only shrugged it off, while i continued to get a burning feeling in the pit of my stomach. huh, weird.

"let's just get this over with." she snarled before we both headed into the building where i texted all of my friends to meet up at.

and there sat lilia, iris, lucas, gaten, charlie, talia, and chosen at the main buildings lounge. they all seemed to be having their own private conversations with each other up until i loudly coughed, gathering their attention.

"hello, well i know this will sound crazy but i gathered you all here for a specific reason, that not all of you will like or agree with."

"this is millie, and she seems like she's new around here right?" i asked as they all nodded their heads, confused and concerned looks on their faces as i went on,

"well, she's not from this side at all. she's from the rebel side and she's one of the leaders." i made sure to keep my voice down while saying that but shortly after, they all gasped, perplexed at the girl who was standing next to me.

"what's she doing here?"

"finn, are you crazy!"

"you know how much trouble we could get in?"

as they continued to blabber on, i could feel millie growing irritated and tired at their actions.

"enough!" she yelled, simply gathering all of their attention immediately. "don't you think he knows what he's doing is risky? he doesn't need your judgmental words right now when he hasn't even explain what's to come." she hissed, shutting all of them up in the matter of seconds.

"now, my plan is that we all one by one sneak over to that side and train. we train to rebel." gasps came again, "do you all really want get married to someone you don't love? or have you life decided for you? because, i sure as hell don't."

"so i say, let's rebel."
