"you're lovely." i told her softly, as i rubbed my hands slowly against the strands of her hair, that escaped from her tight ponytail.
"you're an angel fallen from heaven, i don't deserve you." she whispered as she let her eyes scan over my face. her eyes were pure and filled with light, something i'd never seen before with her.
her eyes, could cause me to be late to my study hall. since i could just stare into them for days on end at a time. her nose was so adorable and suited her usual rosy cheeks.
and her lips, my god- i wish i could just kiss them every fucking minute. but i had to hold myself back. i couldn't ruin this.
"you're so beautiful, you know that? i'm so lucky to have you." i admitted as her eyes widened a fraction, her lips opening up to reveal her cute little fangs.
"finn, don't." she sighed, scrunching her face up as she seemed to be trying her best not to make eye contact with me.
"don't what? millie, i love y-" i desperately tried telling her up until she interrupted me.
"no finn, please don't wake up so soon." she cried, her tear filled eyes now pointed at me.
"wait what-"
my alarm was soon blasting into my ear, and the sound of millie's begging was long gone.
it was all a dream, but it felt so real.
i fell back into my bed, groaning extremely loud, slapping my hands over my face as i tried to get that thought far away from my mind.
"finn, it's time to get up." millie whispered, her head peaked through the crack in my door. i grinned at her silliness.
"come here." i told her causing her to make her way towards my bed with a cautious look on her face. she soon jumped on, next to me.
we both just laid their in silence, it wasn't awkward or uncomfortable. it was actually quite comforting, up until she began to play with strands of my hair that were poking out everywhere because my hair was so curly.
"can you do me a favor?" i asked millie, my stomach in a tingling mess as her eyes snapped on mine. maybe cause i was nervous about the dream i just had?
"we'll always remain friends. and no matter what will happen, we won't let that get in the way of our bond."
"finnie, you know i'm not that good at doing favors. but i can promise you, i'll try my absolute best." she promised as she smiled brightly at me. i nodded, continuing to lay there as she played with the strands of my hair again.

"first things first, we need to plan on how we're going to attack. we need to be as quiet and slick about this as possible, or this all would've been for nothing." she sighed. i rubbed my temples, since i was beginning to have a huge headache.
but i was gonna stay and listen, but just for her.
"what's wrong with you?" caleb whispered, cautiously looking back and forth from millie and i, so he wouldn't end up getting reprimanded by her.
"nothing, my head just hurts a little. that's all." i lied, my head hurt so bad.
he nodded his head, turning his attention back towards the girl that was informing us of how we would sneak up on the enemies.
"are you even paying attention finn?" millie shrieked, her face red and eyebrows furrowed. all eyes turned on me as i rolled my eyes, the aching getting worse and worse by the second.
"just leave me alone right now." i scoffed. i could hear her lightly gasp before stomping over to me. she opened her mouth to say something before quickly shutting it. her eyes scanned over my figure, soon putting her hands around my shoulder and leading me to the bedroom.
"are you okay? i'm so sorry for yelling at you, i didn't even realize that you weren't feeling good." she frantically paced around the room.
"it's fine, you didn't know." i began laying myself down, putting my hands behind the back of my head as millie continued to apologize.
"i'm sorry, i'm so sorry, i feel like such an idiot-" i soon got up, taking my hand and covering her mouth with it. i did realize i was extremely close to her, but i couldn't deal with her rants anymore.
"what will it take for you to shut up?" i asked, looking down at her, while we both stared intently into each other eyes. she gulped, looking away.
"whatever." she said after i took my hand off her mouth.
"you got me." she chuckled as i chuckled back but only nervously. that term had two different meanings, but the one i was thinking of wasn't was she meant at all.
"you should go now, i'll be fine." i told her. she nodded sullenly before heading out, and i immediately missed her presence.
this feeling was going to end up killing me. and, i knew i couldn't let it get in the way of our friendship. so, i'll just stay quiet for now.
or so i think.
