A/n I couldn't contain myself from writing a chapter this close to previous one. I was so happy to hear from you all and it inspired me to continue. So here you go, next chapter and now, things are starting to happen to our brunette...

Now he was more confused than he had ever been in his entire life. The damn book he received was nothing more than a blank piece of junk. Why he was told to unlock a blank book was something he would never understand and it was so irritating. He had basically been played for a fool. The only mystery left to solve was who or what gave him the book and why he was told to unlock it. He had even checked it for a couple of times to make sure he was only seeing things but no, it stayed blank. Not a single page had any scribe nor did it look like it had ever been used.

Maybe it was something he was going to get for his birthday? Then why did his mother had the key to it? And why did she have a key to a blank diary in the first place?! There was no use in pondering it since he still wouldn't get any answers whatsoever. He only became more frustrated  as seconds ticked by until sleep decided to get in the way of his thoughts and he fell asleep on his bed once the late night arrived and almost every man in the country had entered the land of dreams.

Kai found himself standing in a familiar dark looking place. But he couldn't place his finger on why it felt familiar. It was after all only a place full of endless darkness with no signs of up or down whatsoever. He simply walked which totally felt like déjà vu. Then he saw it, a light a few feet away and as he got closer he could make out a figure he had seen before.

The figure from a previous dream.

''It's you again.''

''You have to remember Toshiki. If you can't, then I won't be able to protect you from the danger that lies ahead.''

''Protect me from what? What danger?''

''From the other side.''

"The other side?

''They are after you and will get what they are after if you do not hurry.''

''What do you mean they are after me?  Who is after me? Is someone pulling a prank on me or what? And who the hell are you!" Kai snapped.

''As I mentioned last time we met, that is something you have to figure out on your own. Only you hold the key to unlock which have been lost and to reunite us once again."

''What is it I have to do when I don't even know what has been lost?''

''That book you found. It was blank, correct?

Kai gasped. How did he know about the book. Was he the one who..? ''Are you the one who gave me that diary?''

The presence in front of him nodded.

''Why the hell did you give me a blank book for?!''

''That diary was once your's. It used to contain memories you had written down ages ago but now it has lost its content. All of which it used to be.''

Kai felt even more confused than he was before. ''What do you mean, lost its content?''

''Once, it was a complex masterpiece, unreadable for everyone who did happen across it. But now, it is merely a shell of its former self. Unlock it, and it will be whole again.''

''I don't understand when you talk in riddles."

"Our time is almost up but before I go I need to tell you this: find the triggers and your diary will help you.''
