Leah P. O. V.
Things are finally going the right way. I haven't been this happy ever since me and Tre's first got together and now I have hope we will be again. As soon as I made it home from my day with Tay, I instantly went to call Ana and told her everything.
"You are such a dumb ass."
"Why do I even tell you anything if you're just going to judge me?"
"Because you don't realize the mistakes you do! I can't believe you're okay with Tay asking Tre to get back together with you after all the shit you've done!"
"What the hell are you talking about?"
I'm not having a good feeling about this. Ana has been my best friend for years and I never had her go against my judgement. She was always supportive with my choices even if they sounded dumb. My relationship with Tay doesn't have anything to do with her yet she makes it her business just because I tell her the things we've done.
"You're taking advantage of Tay, Leah. Haven't you realized that since you guys became fuck buddies? I mean all you guys do is take advantage of each other and don't care for anyone else's feelings. Especially you. Did you even offer to help Tay get back with Riley after that whole drama scene?"
I hesitated. "No."
"Did you even apologize for his break up when you guys slept around?"
I spoke quieter each time feeling guilty.
"No."
"Did you even think about what would happen after you had sex with Tay before your breakup with Tre?"
A tear rolled down my cheek but I didn't even have the guts to wipe it off.
"No. I didn't."
"Exactly. You're just as selfish as he is yet you're still going to put Tre through that misery of being with you again when there's a possibility that you guys are going to do the same thing again. Don't give him the trouble of hurting Tre when you know you can't have a faithful relationship with him. Pretty soon you're going to get bored and move on to the next guy."
I was speechless. There was nothing I could say but feeling the horrible agony of hurting Tre yet again if he even took me back knowing I'll do the same thing again. Ana was right. As always. I told her I had to go and got up dashing to my car keys and car driving to Tre's house. As soon as I made it, Tay was leaving his house with a uncertain look on his face. I got out my car and walked to him looking at Tre in the doorway as our gazes locked in place.
"What happened?" I spoke looking at Tay.
"We talked and.... he doesn't want you back. I'm sorry."
I didn't know what to feel. Anger? Depressed? Relief? All I know was Tay did all of this for me and I didn't even have the decency to tell Tre myself without him doing the work for me. I knew this feeling I had. Pissed. At myself. I walked past Tay to Tre still holding the door looking at me.
"Hi."
His face looked uncertain but calm.
"Hi."
He wore his school logo sweat pants that hung low of his waist down to his V line. His chest looked slimmer than before and loss of color in his face when he looked at me. His hair looked as though he needed another haircut but still amazingly handsome when we first met.
"I'm sorry I had Tay come over here for me when I could've done it myself. I didn't mean to cause you more stress than you already have."
"Who said I had stress?"
