Forbearing orbs of a (e/c) nature washed over him, carefully absorbing his external appearance and personality.

"Loki's brother?" You posed, gently.

A boisterous bout of laughter erupted from his throat. "You addressed me as such when we were children."

"It's how I remember you."

Consciously observing your matured features, an unhealthy series of palpitations caused a hammering sensation in his chest. The feeling was foreign, perhaps even unique. However, your undiluted interest forever seemed to lie with his younger sibling, the God of Mischief.

"Why are you here? After all this time?" He puzzled, endeavouring to maintain steady breaths.

Without a second's hesitation, you responded, "To see Loki."

Positioned outside the entrance to the dungeons, yourself and the Thunder God retained a comfortable, wordless atmosphere. At least, you were content not to hear the melodic sound of his voice, and be perturbed by the way it resonated throughout your entire being.

As opposed to rushing, you elected to wait patiently, until a guard happened upon your form. The condition of your childhood companion genuinely concerned you, despite the lack of emotion present on your face. Studying it thoroughly, the animated blonde savoured the image of stray silken locks, freely cascading over your features, and those beauteous, plump red lips he so wished to taste.

Hostile to the silence, your accomplice once more attempted to strike a conversation.

"My brother is locked away for good reason." He spoke, although his expression betrayed his words.

A gentle sigh escaped your mouth, and you muttered softly, as if to yourself, "His mendacity can be truly baffling."

Fluttering your eyelashes shut, you focused on all the events you had alluded to, including New York. While not entirely justified, you understood his viewpoint – being lied to his whole life, promised a throne, and constantly in his brother's shadow.

Guilt ensnared your system – even his most trusted ally had fallen for the forbidden fruit – his older brother, Thor Odinson. The feeling was a thousand leagues worse than anything previously experienced. Sensing a burning gaze, you permitted the opening of your (e/c) eyes, instantly trapping the young god in an intense staring contest.

"I wish to see Loki."

A disapproving breath departed his lips. "I know you do."

"Bring me to him." You ordered, coldly.

"As you wish, Lady (Y/n)."
