As I kill my garden, she grows hers... A beautiful, dewdrop-laden garden with large, blooming, pink and crimson daisies. Mine was never expansive like hers though; mine was very small and controlled, lacking the density and surface area hers had. But, nevertheless, I was growing weary of maintaining those needy red daisies, so therefore, I let them die by not watering them. That was probably the most reasonable thing to do, in that case... However, my garden of color-changing flowers is growing beautifully. Even though they're not very dense, they are incredibly wide, thriving flowers. However, those ones die far more quickly than the daisies. So, I must replenish them often to keep that garden, as a whole, alive.
Her garden, on the other hand, is so dense, that she grows daisies on top of daisies. The thin-petaled flora grow where another's black-hole center should be, and another inside of the one on top. Sometimes, she even plants rows of flowers crossing right through and over another row, perpendicular to it. I don't know quite how she is able to water hers so well, but hers live far longer than any of mine have... Maybe she uses a different can than I did?? Anyways, her garden is so large, that it spans almost a mile long, in each direction. With all the care she puts into planting all these beautiful daisies, she must rarely leave the garden; I don't know how she does it... All that work! It's so tiring! I'm glad I killed mine off...
KEEP US ALIVE,
MAKE US THRIVE;
WATER US ALWAYS, OR WE WILL MAKE YOU PAY,
YOU WILL NEVER MAKE US GO AWAY;
ALL THAT WE NEED IS A LITTLE WATER,
SO THAT WE DON'T DIE FROM THE SUN AND BURN;
WE ARE DAISIES, ROSES, AND FORGET-ME-NOTS,
YOU WON'T REALLY HAVE TO DO A LOT;
JUST GIVE US YOUR LIFE, AND SELL US YOUR SOUL,
AND WE WILL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU, EVEN WHEN YOU'RE OLD...
So, never forget to water your garden like I did,
Never resist your nature,
Never cover your instincts over with a lid;
Be in the present, not the past or future,
Let it all out onto the ground, so thin,
Unplug, relax, and give in,
And forever know, that the garden will always win.
