Blood. There is blood everywhere. On the blue wallpaper, on the polished floor and the matching blue bedsheets.  What shocked me the most was the body. A man looking around 17 was on the bed, the mattress soaking up his blood like a sponge in milk. He had blonde hair and his skin was purple, black, red  and  swollen.  His arms and legs were tied together with thick rope. Although his eyes were closed, he had a terrified pained expression on his pale face. Todd put his hand on my shoulder and  I gulped. " Let's do this. " I say looking up at Todd. He nods grimly and we get to work. I go around taking pictures with the camera. We look for clues. After about 20 minutes, we come together. " Notice anything unusual? " Todd says to me. " Yea actually, The person who murdered Miss Danes brother was out for murder and that only.  The room and the house was left unharmed and untouched. " Todd nodded his head slowly. " There are no signs of any murder weapons. Let's gather what we can and leave. " I nod relieved.
                                                                           Lilly Danes POV:
I didn't feel like much help as I watched the 2 detectives circle the room. Neither one spoke as they made there way carefully around my brothers room. I really hope they find who murdered my brother. Me and Joe where so, so close. I don't know how I'll tell my kids what happened. I noticed that the girl looked rather young. I squinted at her, yes...she looked to be 15 or 14 years old. A bit too young to be a detectives partner.  I thought to myself. She must have  noticed me staring because she glanced at me. I looked away and so did she. The older man was towering over my brothers limp self. He was writing something down and he had a small pouch. " What's in there? " I say dareing to break the silence. " Skin samples I found under your brothers nails. " He said. He then put his notes away and put everything back in his briefcase. " Alex, we're leaving " He said. But Alex wasn't here. "Alex"? He said again. Alex was gone.
                                                             Todd's POV:
I raised an eyebrow. Alex had been in the room a minute ago, so where was she? "Do you think think the murder is still here, and got Alex too?!" Lilly said panicking . My stomach flipped at the thought. Without saying anything, I quietly and slowly walked out of the room. I heard Lilly quietly following me. Halfway back down the stairs, I head a shuffling. My fingers grazed the gun on my belt. The sound was coming from the back door. I quietly walked towards the noise. The back door was opened, and Alex was there.
She was squated down and seemed to be looking at something. She shiverd even though it was a nice day. "Alex"? I said, startling her. She looked up, her eyes filled with uneasiness. "What are you doing?" Alex stared at me for a minute before pointing to the ground. Footprints. Huge footprints lead from where they where all standing into the woods surrounding the back of the house. I crouched down and stared. I took a sample from the footprints dirt, while Alex snapped a picture of it, then the woods. " Can we go now...please? " Alex asked rather quietly. I nod.
                                                                   ??? POV:
It is hard for me not to laugh as I watch the 3 head back inside from my hiding spot. I did what I needed to do. It had been overdue for months. I had always hated Joe for what he did to me, and he paid with his life. But now I have 2 detectives on my case, and I had to be careful. I have to get ride of them before they know too much. While I had been watching them, I saw read the words Detective Inc. on their uniforms, I grin. Now I just have to wait for the best time to strike. " Detectives " I say aloud. " I'm coming for you. "
