Omg episode 39 & 40 was so adorable!!! It's the beginning of a new friendship!!!!! A part of those episodes will be noted  in this chapter so read episode 39 & 40 of Lumine first before reading this!

Lumine POV

Kody. His silky dark hair. His sparkling emerald eyes. His tanned skin. His warm smile.

Lumine felt a gently tug on his fluffy ear. Sensitive, he yelped in surprise. He opens his colorful eyes to see Kody, his hand letting go of his ear. Kody steps back and sighs, a faint(it's faint I tell yOu FAINT) blush on his cheeks. Lumine sits up and rubs his fluffy ear that started turning pink.

"You overslept," Kody sighed. "Get ready for school or I'm leaving you behind." Kody walks out of Lumine's room, closing the door behind him.

Ugh this the fifth time this month. I really need to get back on track.

*Time skip because I'm lazy*

Lumine and Kody walk through the forest, autumn leaves fall gently around them. They nearly reached school when Kody turn to Lumine suddenly. Lumine looked at him with surprise, his cheeks turning pink.

"Why did you care so much about me?"

Lumine stared at Kody, too shocked to speak.

What do I do? What do I say? What can I say?! Should I tell him? Is it too early....or too late?

"Umm," Lumine began. His tail wagging nervously. "What do you mean by that, Kody?" Kody crossed his arms over his chest.

"You're not trying to avoid my question are you?" Kody asks. "It's not going to work. You've already did this about 4 years ago. Sure you answered my questions at home but you didn't answer all of them thanks to Elijah. You can't get away now. I'm not leaving this spot till you talk."

Lumine looks at him in surprise. The tone of Kody's voice was serious. He really isn't going anywhere till he gets his answer.

Lumine glances down at the ground, his hands shaking.

"Ok, I'll tell you."
