Pride month mini story

(This does not effect the story plot!! This is just a little story to celebrate Pride month. Happy Pride Month!!! Also, in this chapter, Lumine's pansexual and Kody's transgender and gay.)

Third person POV

Kody slept peacefully in his bed, holding a wolf plush with a rainbow cape on it. Lumine kicks(yes I said kIcKS) Kody's door open. Kody, scared awake, jumps from the sound and falls to the ground. The witch growled and pulled the blankets off his head to see a excited werewolf. He was wearing a pansexual shirt, which says 'pansexual weredog', with one of Kody's hoodie tied around his waist.

"What the hell?!," Kody exclaims. "You scared me! I was sleeping you know." Kody made sure to keep his blanket above his shoulders since he doesn't have his binder on.

Lumine scratches the back of his neck. "Hehe, sorry Kody. I got excited." His tail starts wagging excitedly. "Do you know what day it is?"

Kody sighs and sits up on the floor. "Umm, it's Friday?"

Now it was Lumine that sighed. "No. I mean yeah it is but that's not what I meant. Today is the first day of the Pride Month!!! Aren't you excited!!! This is our month!!!! Today, June 1st, we're celebrating gay pride! That's you!! You're the smol gay in this household!!"

Kody blinked, processing the information thrown at him. He looks at the calendar and sees that it is Pride month and today celebrates gay pride.

Lumine and Kody hears rapid footsteps coming towards them. Kody's door is busted open(poor door-) to reveal an excited Aiden with a shirt on that says 'Proud dad of gay son'. He was holding a rainbow shirt that said 'Smol gay of the family' along with other pride items.

"Happy Pride Month, Kody!," Aiden exclaims. "Look what I made for you just for this special month!!!"

"Dad-," Kody groans. "Don't tell me Lumine gave you the idea to write those on the shirts." Aiden nods quickly. "Lumine I can't believe you gave my dad the idea to write that. I'm not that small!!"

Lumine giggled. "Kody, 5'3 is pretty short for a 16 year old boy. I'm only one year older than you and I'm 5'6. Besides, I like the shirt!! It's creative."

Kody growled in annoyance.

"Anyways," Aiden says slowly. "I got you and Lumine a ton of pride junk so have fun today! Sadly, I have to go to a meeting so I won't be in the house for the whole week. But, I can trust you guys to stay safe and not get in trouble right?" Lumine and Kody nodded. "Alright then! I'll leave your shirt and this junk on your bed and I'll get going. And Kody, remember to put your binder on."

Aiden drops the items on Kody's bed and ruffles Kody's hair. Sherry walks in and whacks Aiden with her newspaper.

"Ouch! I get it, I'm leaving. Bye boys, see you soon!"

Aiden walks out of Kody's room along with Sherry. Before Sherry left through the door, she turned around to face them.

"Oh yeah, happy pride month you two."

Then, Sherry turned back and headed out.

Lumine laughed.

"Poor Aiden," Lumine says. "Kody, get up and get ready for a very gay day today! Just you and me. You don't wanna leave your werewolf boyfriend alone on day this special."

Lumine kissed Kody on the forehead before walking out of Kody's room and closing the door behind him.

Kody's face heated up and he buried his face into the blankets in embarrassment.
