Lumine's POV

"We have to go get him!" Lumine exclaimed angrily.

Boiling rage bubbled in his body. Yet waves of tears and sadness splashed onto the volcanic rage. Shady clouds of fear have also surrounded the area. It was chaos. These emotions blending together into a natural scene inside Lumine's body. Like the world and all of it's weather issues were stored in this one body. It made Lumine's head ache.

Aiden grabbed Lumine by the shoulders, holding him in place. Lumine realized Aiden did this so he would stop shaking. His hands still twitched from the sudden emotions.

"Lumine," Aiden says firmly. Lumine looked up at him. "It's too dangerous for you to go. We don't know what would happen to you if your father knew you were there. You'll stay here at Headquarters while the rest of us go to Terranevo, ok?"

This upset Lumine, not being able to save Kody from the grasps of his father. No. He was p i  s s e d  that Aiden wouldn't let him go.

"Fine." Lumine replies as calmly as possible, hiding the emotion he's feeling. He even gave Aiden a small smile to reassure him. "Bring Kody home safe. My father is a  dangerous man who will do whatever it takes to get what he wants. Even kill."

Aiden nods, giving Lumine an obviously, fake smile. Then he ran off to Sherry and the others.

Once Aiden was gone, the smile on Lumine's face turned into a scowl. Then he turned toward the direction of the ominous mountains and immediately started sprinting.

I'm 17 years old for heaven's sake! I'm not a child anymore! I can go save Kody myself.  Ah eff it, I'm going to get him. Kody, I'm coming to get you.

Kody's POV

"Shit!"

Blasts of green flames formed and shot at Kody. The restrained witch flinched at the sudden burst of magic, the outside of his skin slightly reddened. Kody looked up at the source of the magic, bile forming in the back of his throat.

Quinn smirked, his glaring eyes turning from a emerald green to a chocolate brown.

"That's enough, Quinn. He needs to be alive when my son gets here."

Quinn sighed, a frown on his face before stepping back from Kody's frail body. "Yes, sir."

Then, a wolf appeared into sight, looking around his 40s. The wolf-no, werewolf- had ashy hair, the luminous yellow eyes standing out. He strolled up to Kody, his glaring eyes continuing to stare at Kody. He stops just inches from the witch's trembling body. Kody looked up at the werewolf, a trickle of warm liquid spilling over his lips.

After what seemed like years, the werewolf smiled, his sharp teeth gleaming in the light. "Ah, finally after so many years I finally have you. Too bad my son couldn't have brought you to me himself. It wouldn't have been such a hassle if just he did what his father asked him to do instead of wasting so much of his father's precious time."

He bend down and wiped Kody's bleeding lip with his thumb. Kody flinched at the sudden touch. The werewolf stood up, inspecting his blood-covered thumb. He, then, licked his thumb, his eyes as big as saucers. Big, villainous laughs suddenly erupted from the man's mouth.

Slightly trembling, Kody stares at the crazy man. "You're a lunatic! What the hell do you want me for?!"

After the sudden laughs, the man looked down at Kody. "Your blood. That's what I want you for. Your blood is the key for my plan to be a success. And after all these years, I will finally be able to fulfill my plan thanks to your precious blood. Cursed, to be exact." Kody stared at him in shock. "You are probably wonder what's so special about your blood and why I know about your little curse. Well, all I can say is that your blood gives me a power no man could ever obtain."

Kody glared at the man. "What power?"

The werewolf smiled.

"The power to take other witch's powers. A curse."
