You're heart is racing. You're going on another date with Jackie Lynn Thomas and you still can't get over that feeling of anxiety and stress that comes with dating your childhood crush. The doorbell rings and you nearly send yourself in shock hearing it. A few knocks followed afterwards with a voice saying, "Marco? It's me. You ready?" You let out a sigh of relief trying to let go of all the stress. "Be right there Jackie!" You put your hoodie back on and headed for the door. The moment you opened it up, your heart was beating like crazy. Jackie wasn't wearing anything flashy. She was wearing that same green and white baseball tee you've always seen her in. Same sea shell necklace around her neck, same purple helmet, same everything! Yet, you still can't seem to shake that feeling that comes with dating your childhood crush. "H... Hey! Jackie!" Your voice cracks trying to say those two words. "Hey Marco! You ready for our date?" "Yeah! Tot... *cough* Totally!" "Cool." She passes you her helmet and skateboard. "Time for you to learn how to skate."
"Woah woah!" Riding a skateboard is much more different than riding a bike. First off, you actually know how to ride a bike. Secondly, trying to impress your girlfriend by learning how to skateboard on your first try was nothing but a fallacy in your head as you ended up face planting the concrete. "Marco! Are you okay?!" "I'm fine! Didn't even hurt." It hurt a lot. You're trying so hard right now not to cry in front of her. "Oh no. You're bleeding." "Huh?" You feel a something dripping down the side of your face. At first you thought it was sweat, but after getting a better look at it, sweat usually isn't red. It also doesn't hurt to sweat. "Ow!" Jackie lightly dabs the wound with rag she pulled from her bag, trying to clean it. "Hold still. I almost got it all." Sure it's slightly embarrassing to see her baby you, a guy who has literally fought monster before, but you also don't mind it at all. It's nice to know she still cares about you even after you blunder. "There. I think I got it. Hold this against your head until we get back to my place. I have some disinfectant we could use on that." "Got it." You couldn't help but smile at the thought of Jackie taking care of you like a nurse at a hospital. Plus it was an excuse to stay with her more and not try to learn how to ride her skateboard.
As Jackie applies the disinfectant on your wound, she grabs a bandage large enough and covers it all up. "There. That should do it." Having Jackie taking care of you is one of the cutest things you've ever experienced with her. You thank her for her help and she tells you, "no problem," as she gives you a smile that really warms your heart. "Stay right here, I'll get something for us to drink." She leaves the living room for a moment as you sit there on her couch. You grab the nearby mirror to see how bad the damages were. Not too bad. You feel around the wound and you winch at some parts, but it didn't hurt too much. "Here, catch!" Jackie returns with some orange soda and tosses you a can. You thank her and opened it up to the sound of a nice "pst." After a day in the sun, you thought this drink was the most refreshing thing of the day. The two of you are now just sitting on the couch, sipping from your cans of orange soda, when Jackie suddenly got comfortable enough to just lay on your shoulder. Your heart races again as you can smell whatever shampoo she used coming off of her. You take another sip from you can when Jackie begins to talk. "This is nice." Words are almost lost in your head as you try to make a response. "Yeah... Nice thing..." She chuckles at your response. "Dude, relax. It's just me." "Sorry..." She nuzzles up closer to you and you can't help but think about how much this is making you crazy. She leans in close towards you ear and whispers, "you know we have the house to ourselves." You nearly spit out your drink as you can see that she clearly wants you to make the first move. So you put your arm around her and bring her in even closer. Her face turns red and she looks at you with those lovely blue eyes. You look away from her gaze as you know your probably blushing so hard right now. "Hey Marco?" You almost try to ignore her call. It fails, but it's not like you can ever say no to her. "Ye.." Before you even finish your sentence, she presses up towards you with a kiss so passionate that you almost spilled your drink. As heart throbbing as that was, in your head you were thinking, 'her eyes are closed. Should my eyes be closed? Oh god what if I'm a bad kisser? Well wouldn't she stop if I was? Does that mean I'm a good kisser then?' You continue to over think the situation after you realize that she pulled away. "You okay?" She looked concerned as you sat there with your dumbfounded face. "Yeah! Of course I am... Just... First kiss and all..." You can't believe you just admitted to that. She must think your an amateur now. It's over. Your relationship with Jackie Lynn Thomas is all over... You screwed up... You screwed it all up... "That's okay." Wait, what did she just say? "That was my first kiss too." Your heart can finally rest knowing that she was just as nervous as you were. She takes your can and places it on the table with hers. She looks at you with those beautiful blue eyes and ask, "want to try kissing some more?" You didn't give it a second though. You smiled wider than you ever had before and just told her, "yes please!" You probably could have phrased that better...
A/N: I hope you enjoyed this little short story of mine. I have some ideas for the next few fanfics, but I would like to know who you would like to see next. I am open to any other Marco ship ideas if you would like to suggest one. Until then, the next one planned is a "bro night" with Tom!
