Kongpob is handing out table number 5’s drinks when he notices his seniors leaving the café. Arthit only gives him a nod which puzzles Kongpob because they just had fun earlier at the field. The café is quite busy so he has his hands full but Kongpob promised his boyfriend that he’ll entertain them, maybe that’s why his boyfriend has that sour look on his face earlier.

It’s not like he can check his phone, it’s in his bag at the guy’s tent, so he doesn’t know if Arthit had texted him or something. They haven’t talked about any plans for later this night which makes Kongpob feel a little down.

He plasters a smile as he takes another table’s order. Earlier had felt like a date to Kongpob no matter how his boyfriend looks at it. They both had fun, their picture sits in the middle of his notebook which he plans to put on his nightstand back at the dorm. So, it’s quite okay if they don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day but it doesn’t mean that he doesn’t want something special for this day.

Kongpob continues to wait on tables, smiling from here and there, and before he knows it his shift has ended.

He goes back to the tent and immediately gets his phone for any calls or messages. There are none.

Kongpob frowns and texts Arthit.

“Where are you, P’Arthit. My shift just got done.” He types.

He changes into his normal clothes and takes a bottle of water that Tew hands him. They talk for a while on how the café is doing and apparently the seniors are very happy with how their sales are exceeding their expectations. They’re talking about rewarding the freshmen with a trip to the beach which is a way of relaxing for them after all the hard work they have done.

Kongpob is tired. It’s past 5 in the afternoon already and he doesn’t know where his boyfriend at. He figures Arthit is with his friends and are roaming around the field.

“Kongpob!” Evil-Maprang enters the tent without warning. Following her is May, Prepailin, and Aim. “Let’s enjoy ourselves for once.”

The rest have a smile on their faces and agrees. They haven’t had the time to chill together since they are too busy with the café so even though Kongpob is tired he nods and smiles at them.

    “How about Oak?” Tew asks.

“He scored a date with a girl,” Evil-Maprang says in wonder.

    “Oak?” Tew asks, “our Oak?”

“Yeah,” Prepailin nods, “I couldn’t believe it either.”

“Yes. That’s why we need to enjoy ourselves because even I don’t have a date!” Evil-Maprang huffs.

Kongpob chuckles at his friend’s antics. They head out of the tent together and excuses themselves from the shift manager who looking a little tired as well. Evil-Maprang must have pulled some strings to have them all together free this afternoon.

Since its afternoon already, there’s a band playing at the mini stage. Kongpob remembered what happened last night and smiles to himself. There’s already a crown forming in front of the stage and they all decide to check it out.

The song is a love song. Most people surrounding them are couples which makes Evil-Maprang glare at them. The lovers on Kongpob’s left are swaying as the girl is cushioned in between her boyfriend’s arms which make him a little envious. It makes him wish his boyfriend is here with him. Aim and May are dancing around each other awkwardly, May has this shy look on his face and Aim looks like he doesn’t know what to do with his hands. His best friend really ought to grow some balls and ask May out for real.
