But I didn't think anything by it because we needed the money. "Ha ha! Seven hundred dollars Cat! We could pay three months' worth of taxes with that!" Mark was practically jumping off the walls for this job. Even though they would supply us with a ship, we still needed a crew. So Mark and I set out. We were desperate, talking to anyone off the street that knew anything about boats. Accept for the town drunk, because no. Just...no. Luckily after about three hours of searching, we managed to scavenge up a sad excuse for a ship crew. But it was our ship crew, and we didn't have any other option.
Today was the big day! Mark was excited, as usual. But I was still skeptical, that all changed once I saw the most beautiful ship I've ever seen. Then two men came off the boat and walked up to me. "Are you Catrina Delarosa Rewez?" My eyes narrowed, "Yes, I am Catrina Delarosa Ruiz." They were obviously taken aback by my tone, but the two men carried on, "This is one of the fastest Dutch boats we could offer, hoping your crew will take good care of her. Based on your capabilities, we expect this ship in Cayenne in six days' time. "Understood sir." Mark and I gave a quick salute and headed off on or journey.
