Samantha was feeling weird Woking up in a new bed with out her husband beside her no one to make her breakfast and yes she forgot it was just one flat she wasn't in the fancy upstairs and downstairs  house she shared with her husband thinking how he could just throw her out like that sending her things to work she had thought so much more of him to her he was a man that never goes wrong but he shows no regards, Samantha have a bath make her way to the kitchen its a while since she light a stove for herself  wasn't even sure she remembers how it is done she open the refrigerator to find a trey of eggs a bottle of milk still seal butter cheese and pancake syrup , left back from the others who moved the day before she didn't think they'll come back for them so she have some scramble eggs with cheese  and a glass of milk, bad combination but it filled her stomach for work she was earlier than even prince this morning and open up the salon, she push open the last window Maureen came an started cleaning,
"Hey girl" prince walk in greeting Samantha, "hi Maureen girl" he said as they make kissing sounds moving their heads from side to side,
"Samantha girl" Cassie said coming through the door "yesterday you leave in a rush with a moving truck behind you and you said nothing what happened girl?" Samantha look from her to prince and to Maureen,
"My husband issue me divorce papers and send my things out the house"
"What?" Sharon said coming in to take a seat "but why Samantha you and Jon were both in love" Samantha had the same though but after yesterday she was convince other wise by the end of the day the entire staff learn of Samantha and Jon divorce on going they all express their sympathy to her she try not to break down and cry she still can't believe Jon just left her putting her things out didn't even care if they were left on the street, she never knew that after that heated love they made he would get up next morning and leave her without the decency of facing her, this was going to take her a long time to get over how was she going to cope for how long will she be able to pay rent, as for the salon how will she be able to save to buy it now, now that she will have to pay rent for her apartment as well she can't just finish her money on rent and she have to maintain her salon and pay her workers she was sure Jon was going to make sure she didn't get anything so far what he send to her was just her stuff,
"So where are you staying?" Cecilia ask
"Well I got a nice flat near the sea next to a three stories mansion, its nice spacious and comfortable, but its still not home I wish, I wish Jon had told me things were bad between us I, I, would, would've tried everything to make it right, I didn't see it coming really it was only the night before we have wine make love we even falls asleep in each other's arms,"
"Samantha its not your fault don't cry" Sharon said, she didn't notice she was crying until a tear ran down her cheek she wiped it away taking her things she bid them goodbye got in her car then left,
She had decided to buy some food for herself laundry detergents  and cleaning equipment, later that evening she did some laundry, she was hanging out around the back, as she noticed the back of a small child who from the back appears to be a girl riding on the bicycle she saw when she move in yesterday, she watch as the child rode around for a while then park it at the place it was yesterday got in the truck and drove away on the corridor that seems to lead to the front she finish hanging her things went back inside to finish unpacking her things she didn't get to yesterday.
Joshua Dale was supposedly to meet with his new tenant, since he got home a bit late yesterday he postpone knocking on the door so late he left earlier than usual this morning for he had a breakfast meeting with a client he was working on a divorce case his wife was already making a lot of demands for their marriage was over fifteen years long with three kids which they both need to get custody, he got tied up in court and eventually had dinner with another client again he came in at a hour he didn't see's fit to go by,
"I'm hoping to go by and see that lady before leaving this morning" Joshua told his house keeper Ms Davis he always like to met with his tenants just to know who was living in his house after breakfast he bid Aden goodbye as Brillo already was dropping him off to school, he cross the path walking on the corridor and around to the front after knocking twice he realize no one was there the fresh tire markings on the damp grass tells him that the person had left he knowtist the plants on the column and the two on the veranda at each side of the front door he walk around back and saw that clothes were handing out this was his first tenant he saw who laundry and have flowers on the column, he was sorry to have missed her who ever she maybe, Alfred already place his things on the font seat but so he didn't leave anything he double check thank Alfred before driving out,
The rest of week was more work Joshua two cases were back to back trying on the same day, he was going up against Jon Smith with the divorce and children custody, it was the first time going against him he learn he was good and hardly ever loose a case but like he he never lost a case and was looking forward to win this one in an hour he was to be present in court for the last hearing  the end of today hearing will determine the result, whether his client wife gets the children or not the evidence he gathered against Jon client was enough to prove her unfit to raise the girls he was sure they'll grant his client custody Joshua fix his suitcase taking it off the table and left closing his office door, the law firm he work was his own he was a self employed top of the line lawyer for eleven years he's been trying cases and never lost once hoping today won't make it be his  first,
Joshua wife violet Dale died two years ago he was a widower with a seven years old boy, since the death of his wife he avoid getting involved apart from his work and business his son was his life, he wasn't about to allow a woman in his life to distract him from his life his job and his son, other from that he was still living with feelings for his wife he wasn't even sure how he'll get over her and didn't feel the need to. He got to the court ahead of Jon he and his client was standing in the hallway when he and his client walk in they both look their way walking by him to the inside, Joshua nod to his client,
"Mr Dale" Barney call from the door "your hearing is up" the man told Joshua he rub his client back "I guess you must be feeling a bit worried god is on our side today" Joshua said with a smile putting his client ahead of him as they walk in.
Samantha didn't feel like going home to cook today she wasn't use to cooking usually after a long day at work opal would fix her dinner and she could make her demand, she was living a good life with Jon didn't know it was going to be ended so soon good thing her mother had taught her the importance of work and her father had pay all her collage fees just so she could become an educated woman, he always say a man can take advantage of your life but if you don't let then take control of you they won't be able to, all she had with Jon were gone the luxury and all were all gone how will she manage living in a rented home and keep her salon she didn't want to loose that too she hope not to for hairstyling is half  her  life the other half was Jon now that he is gone that half will remain empty, she wasn't supposed to be feeling so bad but could she help it after all its only a little over a week the love she had with him will take some time to get over, if I do " Samantha grumbled, distracting herself by looking over at the man standing by the stall of big and lovely ripe bananas, that she didn't see her way clearly and bumped in to someone,
"Can't you watch where your going?" She snap out of anger
"Are you crazy?" The man ask I was totally watching my way and you bumped in to me" he said
Samantha hissed,
"I'm sorry since you insist on it being my fault I apologize to you"
"What ever" Samantha said moving around him to go about her business,
"Joshua watch with a smile as she walk on " crazy woman" he said shaking his head. He knew he was looking where he was going and it wasn't his fault that they bump in to each other, he was in high spirit but wasn't drunk today he was sure of that he just drank few beers to celebrate with his client their victory against his wife Jon was really good but not comparable to him he saw how disappointed they both were but him being a lawyer taking a case was about getting payed  but winning was more important for whether he win or loose he still got his payment, tomorrow he'll drive with his client to pick up his kids from his ex wife mother house he didn't want to go on his own and had ask that he followed him, he  head straight to his office,  he didn't have any case again until Monday, this he wasn't worried about the man he was going up against wasn't near as tough as Jon so he ask his sectary to hold all calls,
"Congratulations man" mark Brisco said walking in to Joshua office "you did it you won over Jon smith how about we celebrate later after work?" Mark ask
Joshua was hoping to get home in time but he agree to celebrate,
"Can't you watch where you're going?" Samantha remembered her angered to ward the man she accidentally bump into to day she knew it must have been her fault for her mind was going crazy with so many thoughts, what had happened with her and Jon was bringing
her down the Divorce wasn't ready to be finalize just yet for still they didn't get a date as for when she is to go and sign the papers  he seems to be in a hurry the lawyer kept calling,   Samantha wonder why on earth Jon let his lawyer kept calling when no date was set, she was glad no court will be involved maybe because she wasn't in the position of making any demands,  for they were married lest than five years, 
Samantha received a cheque for fifty thousand Jon was offering she already tell his lawyer to tell  him to hell with him and it, but she rip it to  pieces send it to his office, she knew it would come in Handy but she  wasn't about to show her depression to him, she was making money at the salon but it was her only income and she has rent and her workers to pay and maintaining the business wasn't easy and she can't let it get shut down, she didn't have children for him that she could depend on getting a monthly allowance from him she was going to have to accept that she lost and try to make it on her own,
Are you comfortable ms Perry?" Opal ask "may I get you anything else madam?"
Opal had serve her tea and biscuits as she had ask, Mr Smith had left for her to take care of her its been a week since she move in three weeks since ms Samantha left opal didn't know why but since all her belonging were sent away and ms Perry came living in the same room as Mr Smith it seems ms Samantha wasn't coming back, opal attend to her calls much as she called so often, it don't seems perry got a job for she just sits home all day since she move in and when she wasn't calling her for tea she was for juice,
Samantha had invited the others over Friday night Saturday morning she walked in the kitchen open her refrigerator to find it empty, she didn't even have something to make for breakfast since she didn't have to hurry to work for prince and the others were there, she called him up to tell him she is going to come in the afternoon, she went shopping  she wasn't thinking on Jon just on her money her list and a budget, She was turning from the fruit stall when she bumped in to someone lost her balance but he caught her with strong steady arms before she fell, Samantha close her eyes tightly gritting her teeth waiting to hit the floor, "are you alright?" He ask she open her eyes then realize he was holding her, she stare at the familiar looking man who was gripping her around the waist, Joshua came to knowtist that they'd met before almost in the same way, "oh its you" Samantha said easing herself from his embrace, holding steady her bags she carried in her arms,
"Its me and of Crouse a little thank you would be appreciated"
"Thank you!, I should thank you for what if you hadn't bumped in to me then we would never had the allocation" Samantha hissed " just move out of my way" she snapped pushing by him Joshua turn to watch her walking away on hasty feet, "crazy woman" he grumble, going his way as well,
