chapter seven

Jon kept calling Samantha for the whole week twice per day but she wasn't answering him she ignore him the other day she saw him running behind her telling her he needed to talk to her, he was following her from one corner to the next at Sonia and Mark's wedding,
just last Thursday she went to sign the divorce papers but he made some excuses not to show up, today, he tried calling her it went unanswered, he was standing outside the court house when Joshua came outside Jon saw him took his phone out his pocket and call someone it didn't take long before Jon heard Joshua saying Sam, put Jon on hedge,
"Opal" Jon called meeting her in the kitchen, "did Samantha tell you where she's staying?" He ask
"No sir when I ran in to her she never mentioned to me where she was staying"
Jon was more on hedge for he learn Samantha had finally sign up those divorce papers with out him present, they were handed to him on his way into his office Monday morning for a while he sat staring at them,
"Is that a new case?" Perry ask walking in Jon's office,
"No not a case"
"What are you staring at"
"Divorce papers from my wife"
"Yeah you finally get her to let go she knew now that you're over her so this means you and I can move on".
Jon nod getting up from his desk walking around it "the court had reach their verdict, I'm to be in court in an hour"
"I'll come along"
"Jon almost tell her she didn't need to accompany him wishing he did when he came to the court house and saw Joshua with Samantha, he walk by them wishing she would look his way,
She had only came to wish her man luck but ended up staying a little longer,
The case has been going on over five weeks Joshua finally present the prove of fraud, against Jon client and another man as they were together setting up Joshua's client,
Samantha finally kiss Joshua good bye and left as they are gathering to go inside,
Jon watch as Samantha slowly ran down the steps, before turning to look at Joshua and they made eye contact, Joshua could see the anger on his face knowing well smith have no reason to be venting his anger on him he is the one that ask for the divorce, He wasn't loving Samantha for he was trying to get to Jon he was sure she wasn't in it for that, he didn't even knew she and Jon had something if Jon hadn't mentioned it he wasn't wasting his time trying to get to Jon and for what, Jon has nothing compared to what he has, he has his own law firm, Jon works for someone, the fashion boutique that was his wife is still up and running, even better than before, he lives in a twelve bedroom three stories apartment, with two cars and a van of his own what is there to envy Jon far it's sure not Samantha for Jon doesn't have Samantha no more,he is sure her heart is with him now,
After the verdict and Jon client was find guilty of fraud a long with that other man, and was to pay a fine of seventy five thousand each and community service for a year,
Again Joshua walk away smiling for victory is again his, he was running down the steps to his car, when Jon catch up with him,
" you think you have it all don't you Dale, you won over me a few cases and now you are trying to win over my wife"
"Ex wife Smith you put her out your life now she's in mine what's the big deal you chose perry but here's a little heads up she's not in love with you soon as she get her fingers around your money she'll run Jon, too bad Samantha will be unreachable"
Betty bring mark and Sonia attention to Jon and Joshua, but soon as they saw Joshua patted Jon on the shoulder walking away leaving him only to see Jon slamming his briefcase on the hood of a car kicking it setting off the alarm, "that's my car you idiot a woman came pushing him from the car, Jon hiss push her back and left her there,
"Did you know Samantha is Jon ex wife Betty?" Sonia ask
"You don't say it must be the reason he's more angry at Josh"
"Yes and for some reason I believe Jon don't want to let her go because he fail to loose her to josh like all his cases" Sonia whispered
"Speaking of Samantha I have an appointment with her" Betty told Sonia,
"So do I " Sonia said
"You ladies should go we'll catch up later" mark said, they bid mark good bye and they both left,
Samantha had herself a long week she had more customers in a week than in a month she was tired Thursday night with Joshua had leave her weak , and to tap that up Friday night Betty and Sonia invited her to a night out, along with some other of their friends, she didn't make it home till three in the night on Friday, when she move her aching body Saturday morning to get out of bed she find herself couldn't get up, Samantha stay a bit longer in bed later called prince to let him know she won't turn up for work and for him to tell the others,
After all the calls Jon finally got the home address to Samantha house for the man who drove her things there gave him and a direction, he couldn't wait to see her finding his way to the big mansion he pause at the gate to observe the big and beautiful house and the nice cars that were park there, he also knowtist the van a huge blue van it was his first time seeing one of such style, he drove on to the flat pull up in the drive way parking behind Samantha's car he figure once the car was there she would be and a window from a bedroom open and the fresh sent of cleaning detergent linger in the air. After circling around he came and knock on the front door, Samantha who was just standing in the living room open the door at the first sound to see Jon standing in her doorway with wonders how on earth did he find her and what the hell did he want.
"Joshua got up out his chair where he's been sitting for hours going through some paper works, he was working on a new case come Monday, he'll schedule to be in court all week, for he was appointed to another case by a government agency, he was to meet up with mark and the guys at the tennis court but he was too tired to make it, so he call and cancel at the last minute, his driver had took Aden to the parkers house for the day for their son Drake was having some friends over and they had call for him, he didn't have anything left to do he went out to take a walk he step out on his front porch and the car park in front the pool house caught his attention he thought he should go over, he saw the door to the front open and heard voices,
Samantha was telling Jon that he need to leave but he was insisting on talking to her ,
" I'm over you Jon you wanted to know the other day why I was holding on to you when you were over me you got your divorce, now leave me"
Joshua didn't know why the voices sounds so familiar he steps in side and Samantha face came in view from the back of the man it appears to be Jon, "if Samantha is here could it mean she's the one living here?" Joshua asked himself, he step more to the inside, knocking slightly
"Samantha" he call to make sure it was really her"
She turned on hearing the voice to see Joshua standing there smiling pleasingly,
"josh you came?" He was surprise she was living in his pool house all this while and he was just learning that,
"You have company"
"You remember my ex husband Jon well he was just leaving" Samantha told him, "please come" she put her arms around his neck kissing him, she was a wear Jon was watching but didn't care the kiss was over and she leads him to the kitchen only to hear the front door slamming, Joshua look around liking the new look she added some beautiful colour painting and photos, photos of her that wasn't at the house they spend many nights in, the girl on the photos back at the other house was on a photo with Samantha then some others with her at her salon with friends, one recent photo of him and Aden at the baseball game, she had ask someone to take one of them and they were both hanging side by side, she offered him a drink as they sat at the table
"You found me here but how?"
"Samantha I didn't came here to see you definitely"
"You mean you were just pasting through?"
"Something like that"
"OK then I appreciate you stopping by"
"Samantha Jon was here I thought you told me you give him a divorce"
"I gave him a divorce, don't know how he find me here I wasn't even so sure what it was he wanted, but really I don't care i hope he doesn't show up here again for I'll just get him a order from the court to get him to stay a way from me, I can do that right?" She ask Joshua,
"Yes you can Joshua smile,
"And what is it you call it?"
"Restraining order" Joshua told her
"Restraining order" Samantha said nodding with a smile,
"You're not in a hurry are you, for maybe I can indulge you in a little asexual activity"
"You trying to get me to stay?"
"Yes, what about Aden how is he?"
"Aden is at a friend having a party"
"OK, and you have to go pick him up after the party?"
"The driver will take him home"
"So doe's he have some one to received him when he gets home?"
"The house keeper is home"
Samantha got off the chair walking around to Joshua placing herself on his lap, "so does this means you and I can have a little party of our own?"
"Sounds interested, but you look so drain will you be able to handle it?"
"You think, I cant?"
Joshua nod Samantha smile then kiss him, she got out of her blouse revealing naked breast, guiding Joshua head down for him to suck on her nipples as she slowly remove his shirt and unbuttoning his pant "I'm not wearing any underwear" Samantha whispered to his ear,
"I hope Jon didn't know that?" Joshua tease
"He wouldn't be able to tell unless I had told him and I haven't said a word to him,she whispered "kiss me" she told him,
Joshua laugh taking her lip between his teeth, lifting her skirt to slide his hand under feeling her warm naked flesh, she ease herself just enough to pull his pant down allowing him access Joshua lift his bottom off the chair sliding inside of Samantha's already moist flesh, she welcome it moaning with pleasure as she felt his skin against hers,

Samantha didn't say anything she was too weak to talk now instead she lay back on his shoulder letting her mind drifted she never thought about pregnancy before until this moment of all the years she and Jon been having unprotected sex even before they were married, she was never on the birth controls, neither has there been any use of condoms Jon always climax inside of her, she wonder if she should get pregnant now what her relationship with Joshua will be like will he accept the baby or is it Aden the only child he wants she would love to have his child a beautiful daughter with josh straight face,his personality, he was the best lawyer, most intelligent man Samantha ever met she want to spend the rest of her life with him for always,
"Sam let's finish this in the bed room" Joshua said
"OK " she got up taking his hand leading him out the kitchen into the bedroom, she drop herself on the bed her skirt lap around her thighs as she stretch her legs to free herself from it, pulling Joshua between her naked thighs, "I want more of you" she whispered, wrapping herself around him, he gave her his love laying next to her, they both falls asleep
Samantha woke up alone in her bed but Joshua had left her a note " coming back in half an hour call me if you need anything bye love you"
Samantha smile roll out of bed and went to take a shower, she finished what she had to settling in front the television flipping through a number of stations until she came to a documentary on animals, she was feeling much better after sex twice with Joshua, he always spice it up that days later the sweet ness remains between her legs, thinking that she should call him, soon as she picked up her phone it started to ring Joshua was calling,
"What can I bring over for you?"
"Your arms for me to sleep in " Samantha said
"Anything for you"
Now that Joshua was coming over Samantha didn't bother Cassie to spend time at her place, She saw Joshua twice some days whole day on Saturdays he bring Aden by Saturday
On Sunday they went to the baseball game together, Samantha got her blue shirt with Aden Dale, and the number seven, just like his age, like her Aden was born in October she was the fifth and he was the twenty, Joshua was born in may on the ninth day a day not far from from here for in just a few days it will be here,
It was Joshua's birthday on Friday, mark and the other guys from the law firm were throwing him a huge party, it is to be a surprise Samantha job was to keep him busy all of Friday since he didn't have court she convince him to spend the day with her she didn't need to try too hard for he was glad to Aden got off from school early they spend the rest of day celebrating together, he later dropped Aden off at his friends for a sleep over his mother knew the family well since she was a live she let him stay a night,
"I was always excited about sleep over" Samantha said when she and Joshua were driving home,
"Would you get excited if I invite you for a sleep over?" Joshua ask
"You would"
"Don't you want to know where I live Samantha, you didn't even show any interest did it bothered you I've not ask you to my place?"
"I didn't ask you over either"
"But still I know where you live"
"Where do you live josh?" Samantha ask smiling
"Samantha I live right next door to you, the pool house in which you live is mine" Joshua told her,
Samantha look at him so much surprise in her eyes,
"Samantha since you and I are lovers I think you should move in with us, with me and Aden" her eyes got even more wide, surprisingly wide,
"Move in?" Samantha ask "in that big house"
"We can rent the pool house to someone else and the money would be yours each month it can help out at the salon so you won't have to worry about rent, maybe by the end of this year you'll be able to stop paying rent at the salon and buy it in cash"
"Buy it?" She ask
"Yes"
Samantha would like to own that salon she dream about it and she would like living in that house especially with Joshua and Aden, but she didn't want to say yes right away to give him a wrong impression, "let me think about it" she said
"We've been together almost a year now I don't see what is there to think about Samantha but since you want to OK"
Samantha turn to look at him but said nothing, and Joshua refrain from that allowed her to think about it,
"How comes you don't make any plans for my birthday ?" He ask
"Plans?" Samantha ask
"Yes woman plans like to take me out"
"Out you want to go out?"
Joshua look at her, she grinned "OK I'll go out with you"
"Good"
"There is a small restaurant that open recent I'll take you"
He nod,"Samantha I don't care how small as long as we are together"
"I'll have to blind you and take you"
"OK"
Samantha laugh leaning on him, he smile
He pull in the drive way of the big house park in the garage
"I would like to invite you in for some time"
Samantha look at her watch it was a little over seven and she has to get him to the party at nine, "but josh I have to go ahead and get ready"
"Samantha didn't I say a little"
She agree to stay a while they enter through a room with a pool table a huge pool and a bar she look up and almost yelled for she saw water hanging over her head and it look like inside the ocean fish of all type it looks real pretty she went from frightening to marveling as he take her through the door from the pool and bar room in to the passage three bed room facing the huge pool room she could not see inside for the doors were close if it hadn't been for the tag on them she wouldn't be able to tell, the hall way was decorate with black and gold furniture with statues of animals Samantha could made out a polar bear a panda bear,tiger lion a baby elephant and a bull, moose head hang on the wall a lizard from another country, a few more she wasn't familiar with they take the stairs in to the living room that seems bigger than the entire down stairs from what she was seeing this place was a few more stories short of being a hotel, two bed room to her right next to the big dinning hall the kitchen next to the dinning hall, a room that said office Samantha figure it must be where josh get his paperwork done when he's working on a case and he's not at the law firm. The games room, a library and study room in one the den beyond the living room,
Joshua maid and butler met them in the living room they greet Samantha warmly, welcoming Joshua home, "sir is there anything I can get you?" The maid ask
"Miss Davis meet Samantha"
"Madam" she nod
"Hello" Samantha said
"This is Alfred, Alfred Samantha"
"Mam" Alfred said
"Hi" Samantha smile,
"I have no request Samantha and I will leave soon thank you, you can take your leave"
They both already knew Aden would be out for the night so they both just bid goodbye taking their leave as told,
Joshua take Samantha by her hand leading her to a Small door it was when she step in and start moving she knew it was a elevator, she look at him he smile,"this way we got there faster than taking the stairs, and we have to go right"
"Oh yes Samantha said looking at her watch it was seven thirty five, " I should go now and get ready or we might never get a good table "
"Don't worry you'll be ready in time"
The elevator came to a stop he was still holding her hand when he lead her to a door that said dressing room he push the door and Samantha was astonished.
