chapter four

Samantha and Joshua had gone out on their fifth date, before tonight, now  they have come to see a movie that was showing for the first on big screen, it was a love scene, that got Joshua heated long before the movie ended he has his hand across Samantha shoulder bringing himself closer, she felt the heat from his body  she look to see him sweating he look so nervous, she heard him sigh taking deep breath,
once the movie was over he pulled himself out the chair Samantha got up to stand next to him, he was quiet when they were walking out, she wonder what was in his mind for he looks completely lost she reach out to touch him and he jump, "sorry" Samantha said
"Its OK you just startled me that's all can you  excuse me for a while?"
Samantha nod and he left heading down the direction of the bathroom,
Samantha call Cassie she pick up on the first ring she was at Michael and gave Samantha the permission to use her apartment for a few hours when she ask to she already know where the keys are
"Want to go somewhere?" Samantha ask when Joshua join her again, with out question he nod together they got in his car and she gave him the address to where they were going, Cassie live alone in heaven dale in a rental apartment, all she owns his a cat that ran away soon as the door open and it saw it wasn't Cassie
"Please sit anywhere" Samantha said Joshua sat looking around he saw pictures of people and none were Samantha, she look in the cupboard and found Cassie with a bottle of Scotch and plain whisky and offer Joshua a drink, she sat next to him crossing her legs "you look nervous" Samantha said
"Me of Crouse not"
"Do you want to make love to me?" Samantha ask
Joshua eyes widened, after the movie it was all he wanted to do he didn't know why he was so scared Samantha kiss him rubbing his cheeks "tell me you want to"
"Yes Sam I want to make love to you" he rest his glass down so his hands were free to touch her she pull him off to the bed room where they make love ,
"Wow" Samantha said easing up to look at him "that was good,a little rough but sweet"
Joshua smile he was still drain from that little activity "
"So you haven't date in two years does that mean you, you"
"Yes" Joshua answer "I have not done it in that same period of time"
"That explain why you're so rusty"
Joshua laugh
"I'm just kidding you josh it was as I say"
"Sweet?" He ask
"Yes sweet like your kiss" she kiss him "I'm going to enjoy loving you" she kiss him deeper and love him once more he was asleep when she got up in the morning after freshening up she went back to the room to dress she make breakfast and offer it to him in bed Joshua didn't feel like taking a shower so he wash just his face and came back after they were finish eating, he was ready to leave,
"should I drop you back at your car?" He ask
"I'll pick it up later"
"Are you sure
" yes I'm sure"
"I'll call you"
"OK you do that"
"So when will you be available for another date and for us to have sex?"
Samantha laugh"are you saying that you liked it?"
"Loved it for more than you did"
"Oh yeah what make you think that?"
Just my feelings"
"Those feelings of yours or wrong"
"So when can it happen?"
"When you want it to"
"If I didn't have to leave it would be now"
Samantha  folded her arm's above his neck to kiss him goodbye soon as he was gone she quickly put Cassie place back together change her sheet and throw the use ones in the machine, wash it rinse it and leave it at a time to dry before leaving to collect her car and to go back to her place,
"Smile" prince said Monday morning when Samantha came to work
"You got some didn't you?" Sharon ask
"Yeah" Maureen said I see it in your eyes"
Samantha smile but she just wasn't saying for the rest of day she walk around glowing, when her phone rang she ran off to the store room her smile was huge than before,
"He called didn't he?" Sharon ask
Samantha nod
"You like this guy right ?" Cassie ask "so why not sign those divorce papers"
"I'm hoping to soon" Samantha said walking away the smile still on her face, she wore that smile throughout the week each morning she walk in the salon someone ask if it happened again, Samantha would just giggle, much as she wanted to have josh love Friday on their date she didn't push it to happened she was hoping for him to make the move next time but for some reason he shy away and only kiss her goodnight.
"Dad it hurts " Aden said when the house keeper try to release the nots from his hair Joshua was taking him to the park for the Sunday afternoon baseball  game he play on a team with some boys his age and up.
"Mr Dale you need to get the boy a hair cut" the house keeper told Joshua
"No! No! I don't want to cut my hair, I'm scared dad, please"
"You'll have to wear your hat son your hair can take the whole day" Joshua put it on his head taking his hand "see you in a while"
"OK sir" they answer "Mr Aden you knock them cold" the house keeper said
"Will do" Aden said putting up a thumb as they both did,
Joshua got to his car looking by the pool house its been a while since he was to gone and meet his tenant but have been busy he couldn't stop now for he and his son were both leaving, his house keeper had told him she check and all was well  but he want to see for himself, he will some other time, he thought so he left again with out going over.
Samantha didn't have anything to do it was Sunday and she live a lone she did her cleaning and laundry since yesterday and iron early this morning already cook some chicken strew and rice and peas for breakfast have some
for lunch and save the rest for dinner, she paste the floor unable to find anything prince and all the others were engaged she didn't want to call josh on a Sunday instead of sitting around doing nothing she got in her car and went for a ride,
Samantha drove slowly around seaview and found a
play field with a group of children playing baseball, and decided to stay awhile and watch the game, she was starting to enjoy it so she stay until it was over and the blue team won, she ended up staying for the celebration,
It was allover and people were making their way out Samantha Joshua was standing close to the entrance waiting on Aden he has gone to grab his bag he forgot on his bench he turn around to see if he was coming, Samantha was distracted by the happy cheers of the children who just won the baseball game she didn't even see anyone standing in front of her until she bumped into the person almost knocking herself over but was grabbed by strong arms.
"I'm sorry" she said
"Samantha" Joshua said "you're here?"
"You" Samantha said seeing him in the coach jersey, "you" she said once more but before she could say more Aden came behind them,
"Dad can we go now?" Aden ask as he walk to Joshua,
Samantha was surprise "dad" her eyes widen with expression, when she questions herself looking at Joshua and the little boy next to him,
"Hi" Aden said when he realize his father wasn't by himself,
"Hey you how are you"
"I'm good" he answer
"Aden meet Samantha" Joshua said Samantha this is Aden "
"Aden that's a nice name I always like the name Aden"
Joshua didn't take his eyes from her face while she speak to Aden he hope she didn't fuse on him he menthe to tell her about Aden before "why didn't I" he thought,
"It suits you too" she said
"Thank you" Aden said with a smile, "my dad and I, we were just going for ice cream do you want to join?"
"You're inviting me for ice cream? Wow this is going to be fun ice cream with two handsome guys I'm so excited!" She said
Aden smile and Samantha rub his cheek
"Why don't you put the things in the car Aden and meet us back here" Joshua hand him the key and they both watch him went off,
"You didn't tell me that you got a son" Samantha whispered
"I should have said something to you about it I just didn't know what your reaction would be"
"A son ah so you are a father"
"A single father"
"He's a nice boy" Samantha said
"Thanks" he said getting close to kiss her soon as his lips came on her lips  she cuff his face between her palms welcoming the sweet taste of his kisses,
"Can we go?" Aden ask when they finally stop kissing,
He lead the way and they follow they found a seat and he orders hot fudge sundaes for them
"So this is your job, couching a group of six to twelve years old boys on a community baseball team how cute,
" it would have been if it was paying, I just do this so these kids can have something to do around here" congratulations on the win by the way, it seems that you enjoy it a lot I really couldn't take my eyes off the coach in the blue"
"Thanks" Joshua laugh, "its not the first time that  I've won so big, I won you didn't I"
Samantha smile, blushing at him she really like this guy it didn't matter if he got a son for even Aden seems such a nice boy,
They both look to Aden as he came bringing big jars of hot fudge sundaes,  they look mouth watering neither could wait to dig in, "I'm full" Aden said resting on the table "I might get sick dad" Samantha laugh rubbing his back "you'll be over it in a drifty" she told him
"I must get him home" Joshua said lifting him from the table
"That's OK I hope he will be alright, by Aden nice meeting you"
"Sorry about this" Aden said
"No need to be one always got carried away when having fun"
"By Sammy" he said waving
"Drive safely" Samantha whispered kissing his cheek,
She sat back to finish her share of sundae dishing Aden and Joshua own together and take it with her. She got back
to her car and drove home soon as she close the door she call Joshua to ask if his son was alright, he was sleeping after going to the bathroom multiple times and crying for belly ache "
"I'm sure he'll be out of it when he's up later" Samantha said
"Yeah I hope the same"
They together sigh taking deep breaths they observe a moment of silence,
"Listen Sam" Joshua said "I'm inviting you to a party on Saturday will you come?"
"I don't see why I can't come" Samantha said "what time is the party?" She ask
"Nine pm"
"OK, have a good night be sure to tell Aden thanks for the ice cream"
"Will do" Joshua laugh ending the call he lay back on his sofa with a relaxing smile upon his face he became more and more found of Samantha especially now that she came to know about Aden and falls for him, the fact he didn't know her all that well the most she told him was about her marriage that was soon to be no more he haven't told her much a bout himself either wondering what she think if she believe that the coaching was his job he didn't tell her his full name wondering if she would have any idea who he really his if she came to know his name"
They have been dating at least four months now he wasn't expecting sex to be involved so quickly but he was glad for it after a two years break he didn't know he was missing sex so much and it was so good it was only two weeks ago since they went out twice after he could only allowed himself to kiss her goodnight he hope Saturday night she'll let him pick her up for the party and drop her after, he didn't want to turn up at such a big party with his date to be seen getting out of separate cars, It going to be a party for professional people successful businesses men and woman he was sure everyone was going to go all out to show up with someone up to standard he didn't know the type of job Samantha has , he didn't ask and she didn't say it wasn't about what she does it is about who she is and having her there will be just enough,
"Josh is taking me partying this Saturday" Samantha boast with excitement, getting all the others excited,
"I want to have you guys meet him, but soon OK" she said her expression changes on her though of his son "josh has a son" she mumble hanging her head
"He doe's!" They ask in unison
"From his marriage"
Prince breaded a sigh of relieve, for he believed it was from another relationship"But is wife is dead" Cassie said
"Yeah he's a widower and a single father" Samantha said
"He didn't tell me he got a son" she told them wondering what other secrets he has, she shouldn't let it bother her for Aden was this sweet little boy who was mother less what she must do is try to become a mother figure to him and not shy away.
