Jimin is a nervous wreck. He's never proposed to anyone before! What if Yoongi finds him cliché or weird or awkward?

He's currently spilling his feelings out to Seokjin, Taehyung, and Hoseok as they help to decorate their bedroom. “You have nothing to worry about!” Taehyung assures him with his famous rectangular smile. “Yoongi-hyung loves you.”

“He's also wrapped around your little finger and totally whipped for you.” Hoseok remarks, earning him a glare from Seokjin. The alpha only laughs. “What? It's true!”

“It is.” Jimin's small voice pipes in, and he giggles. “My Yoonie is soft for me~”

“He's soft for you and for your unborn little ones.” Seokjin kisses the top of his dongsaeng's head. “Now we need to get this ready! Yoongi and Namjoon will be home in two hours and I still have to cook!” He dashes to the kitchen, and Hoseok follows him, leaving Taehyung and Jimin to finish setting up the room.

They spend another thirty minutes on it, with Taehyung doing most of the hanging and decorating and Jimin setting up yet another new nest on the bed. The others joke that he goes through nests faster than Seokjin goes through a bag of rice to cook with, but he doesn't care. He likes things being fresh and clean for his alpha. Jungkook and Hoseok are setting up an area for the couple in the dining room while Seokjin cooks, and Namjoon has been given instructions to keep Yoongi out of the dorms until exactly seven p.m.

That way, Yoongi doesn't know what's happening, and Namjoon's clumsy hands are off of everything.

At 6:55, Namjoon texts Seokjin to let them know that they're almost there, and Taehyung, Hoseok, and Jungkook give Jimin a light hug (because they don't want him smelling too much like anyone else) and leave to go bowling. Seokjin puts the finishing touches on dinner and walks to the front door, ready to greet his mate and Jimin's.

At promptly seven, there's a knock on the door, and Seokjin, after giving Jimin a reassuring smile, opens it to see the two alphas. “Welcome home, guys!” He smiles warmly and bows low, his mate pulling him into a hug right after.

“Hey, hyung.” Yoongi smiles to the elder before going straight to Jimin and kissing him deeply, making the younger go weak in the knees so his alpha has to hold him up. “Happy anniversary.” He whispers upon pulling away.

“Happy anniversary, my Yoonie.” Jimin's smile is warm as he wraps his arms around his alpha's waist. “Jin-hyung cooked us dinner! I thought we could eat in tonight.”

“That sounds perfect.” Yoongi turns to the older omega. “Thank you, hyung.” Seokjin smiles and bows his head as he leads them to the dining room, where the dishes are already set out on the table, along with a bottle of sparkling cider (alcohol free, of course). Off to the side between the dishes sits a vase of gorgeous light pink roses and white carnations, interspersed with baby's breath and pastel blue hyacinth. There's a single vanilla-scented candle as well.

“Hyung!” Jimin gasps. “This is more beautiful than I expected! Thank you!”

Seokjin chuckles and hugs the younger omega. “You're welcome, Jiminie. Now enjoy your evening. Namjoon and I are going on a date. Have fun.”

“Thank you.” Yoongi smiles to them both, and pulls Jimin's seat out for him before sitting down across from him. “Do you have something planned, Minnie?” He asks after they've eaten dinner and are sharing a (rather large) bowl of strawberries.

Jimin knew his alpha would ask this, and he has the perfect answer prepared. “It's our anniversary, Yoonie. I wanted to do something special.” He then pulls a shopping bag out from underneath the table. “I got you something!” He hands the bag across to Yoongi, who takes it with a wide gummy smile.
