True Love: A One Direction Fanfiction

Chapter Two

Skye woke Carder and I very early this morning. She is already rushing around the flat trying to figure out what to wear for her and Louis' date. She finally decides on a fuchsia dress that falls to the top of her knees and flares out, the dress has one sleeve.

Carder and I literally just sit in Skye's flat all day watching her rush back and fourth. Skye started getting ready first thing. By mid-afternoon she already had her make-up on and Carder and I were helping her with her hair.

We eat a late lunch of ham and cheese sandwiches and play card games until six in the evening, then Skye goes into her room and puts on her dress. When Skye comes out of her room, she looks so pretty. She has on her dress with strappy silver heels. Skye's long blonde hair is curled, unlike her usual straight hair, and it is placed into a loose bun that made her curls bounce. Her fuchsia dress is satin. Skye's heels are studded with rhinestones all over. She starts twirling and laughing showing us us her full outfit.

Just when she is on her fifth spin the doorbell rings. She rushes to the door and opens it. Louis is standing there looking so handsome. He is wearing a nice white button up shirt with navy-blue and white striped suspenders, tucked into some navy-blue pants.

As soon as Louis gets a look at Skye he says "Wow you look beautiful!"

He opens his arms for a hug, and Skye falls into them, giving him a kiss on the cheek and then says "Come in."

Just by watching the two of them, I knew Skye wasn't lying when she said it was love at first sight. Louis walks towards Carder and I. We both stand up from the couch and Louis gives us both a hug. He says to us that he hopes we can all get to know each other and become great friends with him and the rest of the band. Carder and I agree with him. I am extremely excited that this can be the blossoming of new friendships. Louis smiles at us with his beautiful white smile and says that he will have Skye home by nine-thirty tonight.

Carder and I say "Okay."

They head out the door hand-in-hand. Carder and I sit on the couch watching movies. Time went by quickly, because next thing I know Skye and Louis come through the door laughing. They start telling us about how when they were on their date just as they were finishing their dinner, a younger girl recognizes Louis. Next thing they know they were being attacked by fans and they had to run through the kitchen. They got to an alley, and it turns out Skye broke the heel of her shoe off, so then Louis carries her piggy-back through the alley until they get to his car.

We all laugh and talk for awhile then, around eleven-thirty Louis decides that it is time for him to go home. We all stand up following him to the door.

Just before opening the the door he turns around, faces Skye and says "I don't want to sound like I am rushing our relationship, but I really want to kiss you right now."

Without hesitation, Skye reaches up and kissed him. It has to be the cutest thing I have ever seen. It was only about a five second kiss but it was sweet.

Skye smiles up at him and asks "So does this mean I'm your girlfriend?"

Louis' blue eyes brighten and gives her a little peck, then exclaims "Yes!"

He gives Carder and I hugs and heads out the door. Skye closes it behind him and slides down to the ground with the biggest smile on her face. She tells us that their dinner was amazing, and he took her to an amazing restaurant. I tell her how happy I am for her and we just sit and talk more about her and Louis' date. Eventually we all decide it is time for bed. The last thing Skye says to me that night was that her lips are still tingling. 

I wake up to laughter coming from the kitchen. I get dressed, brush my teeth, brush my long, brown hair, and go into the kitchen. I find Skye and Carder sitting with this girl at the table. The girl has short, black hair. She is wearing a purple Areopostale shirt with jean shorts. Skye introduces us, she tells me this is her friend that she works at Starbucks with, and that her name is Casey.

Casey looks over and smiles and says "Hi."

"Hello." I say.

Skye then proceeds to tell me that Casey and Zayn Malik have been dating for almost a year. I knew Zayn is dating someone, but he keeps her name a secret to keep her safe. I say to Casey that I think that is awesome. We all just talk and laugh until about one o'clock, and then Skye asks us if she can call Louis and Zayn and see if they can come over with some takeout and watch movies. About thirty minutes later, Louis and Zayn arrive with some Nandos and movies. Louis tells us that they told the other boys they are invited to come but, Liam is with Danielle and Niall and Harry went golfing.

We spend the rest of the day watching movies, talking, and laughing. Around nine at night the boys and Casey decide it was time for each of them to go home. As soon as Louis gives Skye a kiss and is the last one to leave, all three of us go to our rooms to sleep, without hesitation. We all agree that we need rest for the concert tomorrow.
