True Love: A One Direction Fanfiction

Chapter Ten

Niall opens the ring box and I see a huge, beautiful, diamond ring. My eyes fill with tears. I look down at him and smile. Niall's ocean blue eyes are sparkling, his blonde hair is styled it's usual adorable way, and his teeth are flashing a bright smile.

He looks up at me and says with his strong Irish accent, "Kendall Beth Smith, the past year with you has been amazing, and I love you more than anything in the world. Will you marry me and be my princess forever?"

I burst into tears and exclaim "Yes!"

He stands up lifts me into his arms and kisses me passionately.

I can hear the fans screaming "Awwwh!" and crying.

I can hear Carder and Skye shouting "Yeah Kendall!" and "It took him long enough!"

The other four boys in the band are standing behind us and jokingly shouting "Hey no PDA!" and "Finally Niall! Now can we get on with the show?"

I push away what my and Niall's friends are saying and continue the long passionate kiss with my soon-to-be-husband.

I can feel his tears on my cheek along with my own, but I can also feel him smile as we kiss. When the need for air becomes too much we pull away. He is still holding me off the ground, and he is just smiling at me. His big blue eyes releasing tears. I give him a small peck and he spins me a few times before placing me back on the ground. He tells me to stay on stage and sit on the couch with him because all the boys have prepared a little speech before they start the next song. I take a seat next to Niall on the middle cushion of the couch. Harry sits on the other side of me, and on the other side of Harry is Zayn. On the arm of the couch by Niall is Louis, which means Liam must be the first to speak.

Liam says that he is glad that he and I have became such great friends in the past year, and that his wife Danielle wants me to go shopping with her sometime. He goes on to say that this is the happiest Niall's ever been, and that Niall and I are perfect for each other. He says that I make one of his best friends happy and that makes the rest of the band happy. He then jokes that he is going to buy our kids Toy Story toys and that when we get back from our honeymoon, we are going to Danielle and his house to watch all the Toy Story movies. When he finishes his speech, I give him a hug and he kisses me on the cheek and says congratulations.

Zayn is the next to give his speech, so Liam takes his spot on the couch. Zayn's speech is short and sweet. Zayn says that I am a beautiful young lady and that he is glad Niall found. He also says that there are going to be a lot of backyard cookouts at his and Casey's house. He then says that I am a good friend and that he is lucky to have in his life as well. I am still crying so hard that I don't think it's even humanly possible anymore. I go give Zayn a hug and he kisses me on the cheek. I look to see that most of the fans are crying and that Carder and Skye are bawling.

Harry then gets up to speak and Zayn takes Harry's spot next to me on the couch. Harry says that he and Louis have had a lot of fun playing practical jokes on me, and that he is glad to have me as one of his best friends. He says that I am like a big sister to him. He also says that He, Niall, Carder and I are going to be hanging out. He starts almost all of his sentences with "Ummm so basically..." and I start laughing and crying at the same time. He tells me that I am a beautiful girl and that I am amazing for saving Niall's life. When he finishes he hugs me and he also gives me a kiss on the cheek and says congrats. He takes the spot where Louis was sitting next to Niall on the couch.

When Louis starts his speech, he unbuttons his white button up shirt to reveal a t-shirt that says 'I Ship Kiall'  which makes the audience laugh. Louis then goes on to say that I am a great best friend and that he and Harry love pulling pranks on me because I am the easiest to scare and the most gullible. He goes on to joke that after Niall proposed he thought that we were never going to come up for air and that he swares my face was turning blue. The audience starts laughing and he turns around and give Niall and I a grin. I smile back and shake my head at him. He says that I am like his little sister. He jokes to Niall that he better treat me right, because he is shocked that Niall actually got a girl and so Niall has got to keep me around. Niall just laughs at him. He finally gets serious and says that he is happy for us and that he and Skye will be spending a lot of time with Niall and I. He says that I should never again feel like I don't deserve Niall. When he finishes he hugs me and gives me a kiss on the cheek. He tells me congrats and then calls Skye and Carder on stage.

Skye starts by saying that Louis and Harry called her and Carder ahead of time letting them know about the proposal, and that it was so hard to keep the secret. She says she is so happy for the two of us and that I do deserve him, that I am not holding Niall back from anything. She then jokingly says that this is a concert and there is to be no more PDA. She gives Niall and I a hug and stands to the side of the stage.

Carder takes the microphone and says congrats to Niall and I. She says that Niall better treat me right or she will hurt him. She then includes that she and Skye have enjoyed pulling practical jokes on Niall while their fiancés have been pulling pranks on me. She tells me that I deserve this ans then gives Niall and I a hug.

Carder and Skye go back to our seats and Niall presses his soft and moist lips hard against mine. That gets the crowd cheering. When the urge to breathe becomes too much once again, we pull away and I exit the stage and take my seat in between Carder and Skye.

When the concert ends, Carder, Skye and I then go to meet our fiancés backstage. We then go to the signing with them.

One girl I recognize because she asked for my autograph last year, comes up to me crying and says, "You and Nialler are perfect. I knew you were his princess from the moment he pulled you on stage last year."

I smile at her and walk around the table to hug her and some other fans, also Niall and I get pictures with some of the fans. I think to myself, "This is crazy, I have fans?" Carder Skye and I are signing autographs along with the boys like we're famous or something.

When the signing ends, Niall and I get in his car to head back to my penthouse. All the boys get to stay here for a few days for Louis, Skye, Harry, and Carder's wedding. Then we also have to attend Liam and Danielle's baby shower. Even though they get to stay for at least two weeks, their honeymoons are only going to last one week, but that's better than nothing. On the car ride home Niall says that after the wedding he has to show me another surprise, but we got to get some sleep if we are going to be maid of honor and best man tomorrow. I say okay and when we get to the door of my penthouse, he kisses me and tells me goodnight.

As soon as he turns to walk next door to his penthouse, I say "Stay with me."

He turns and smiles. We go into my penthouse and and I brush my teeth and put on my pajamas. Niall brushes his teeth, takes off his shirt and slips on some athletic shorts. We walk into my bedroom and he starts kissing me. We crawl into my bed and he lays down beside me kissing me passionately. When we pull away we rest our foreheads together and our lips are almost touching. We are both breathing heavy from the kiss we just shared. He wraps his arms around me and pulls me close.

He whispers "I love you so much babe."

I whisper back, "I love you too, Niall."

He gives me a soft sweet kiss and I drift off to sleep in his arms.
