Both of Us (On Hold)

Chapter 1

Heyy everybody I'm back again!! This time with the sequel to Summers End which was my very first book and baby hehehe... 

I would really want to know what everyone has to think about this first chapter so please Comment below and I know in parts it may be a bit slow in places but I hope you all like it just the same.

Chapter 1

“I’ll be back in two days,” I promised Matt as we stood in the airport terminal.

“I’ll miss you,” Matt replied giving me a peck.

“Really,” I questioned putting my hands on my hips.

“What,” Matt wondered with a clueless look on his face.

“I’m leaving and all I get is a goodbye peck,” I questioned.

“Oh.”

Matt then took me by surprise as he crashed his lips against mine and as we kissed I could feel the smile spread across his face.

“The flight 9867 to Los Angeles is now boarding in gate 2,” a voice came onto the intercom.

“Come on guys stop making out you’re going to make Piper and me barf,” Madi exclaimed.

“Shut up Madison,” Matt announced eyeing her.

“I think you have to let Bell go,” Madi replied with a shrug.

“I’ll see you in two days,” I stated giving him a quick kiss before turning my attention towards my 1 year old daughter, Piper who was smiling aimlessly looking around the terminal.

“I’ll see you baby girl,” I said giving her a kiss holding onto her hand, “I love you.”

“I love you,” she whispered in her cute little voice with her cheeky smile the same as Matt’s.

“Good luck Bell,” Matt called as I gave the lady my plane ticket.

Just before I headed down the tunnel I turned around to blow Matt a kiss, then without a moment’s hesitation I boarded the plane heading towards Los Angeles.

As the plane takes off I peer out the window taking in the view, it doesn’t matter how many times I fly I still loves watching the world become smaller.

It’s nice to have some peace and quiet after one hectic year so much has happened and I can’t imagine my life getting any better.

So after Matt proposed to me at our graduation we spent around three weeks packing all our stuff into boxes and by the time Piper had reached 5 months old the three of us had moved into Matt’s old home.

But as the summer soon turned into autumn many of our friends went off to college, including Matt so most days he went to his classes for journalism which he is excelling at.

Me well Piper and I spend most of our days at the beach or the youth centre just outside of town where I volunteer to help teens with various problems, drugs, alcohol, abuses, pregnancy and kids who just want to become more a part of the community; but my heart has never let go of photography.

Piper celebrated her 1st birthday which was a huge event everyone turned out for the beach party it was really great fun.

Now I’ve been engaged for just over a year and our wedding is in one week exactly; you might now be wondering why I’m going to LA well it’s because I have an interview for a big photography business ‘The Perfect Eye’ for an internship the best thing I’d still be able to work at home as they have shops all over the country but for some reason they insist to conduct all interviews at the head office.
