" I miss you too, Luke " I smile and hang up, " So, when will we be going there? " Magnus enters with Alec " Right now " Alec interjects, "There have been more murders" He shakes his head grimly. "Is it wise for all of us to go? " Simon Says "I mean we don't really know what the Seelie queen will do if we walked in unannounced? "He says nervously " All the more reason for us to stick together, " Jace says. " I will make the portal, biscuit if you don't mind." Magnus says as we clear the space for him, I have this humming in my veins like an instinct telling me that this isn't gonna be easy. It never is with Seelies.
And then I fall down on the ground and there is snow, miles, and miles of it. I get up and Jace gives me his sweatshirt " Take it " He says handing it " Why thank you " I kiss him on the cheek. Everybody is silent for a long time, they look nervous and so am I. The thing about the Seelie court is that through all its beauty, charm and glory it is still one of the most vicious and dangerous places in the shadow world. The trees were green with flowers and fruits hanging on them in every direction. delicate petals of flowers adorned with dew and mist. And suddenly we see an elf arrow shot straight towards us before Alec or Jace could do anything, Izzy uses her whip and catches the arrow " It seems like the Queen knows we are here "Simon mumbles. After some trekking, a Seelie knight spots us, Jace stops him from coming any further " We are not here for any violence, we just need an audience with your queen" He says smiling, he is an expert in dealing with fairies " You weren't announced were you, shadowhunters ?" I take a deep breath " No, we were not but we believe we might have something the queen would very much like to possess " I say softly " What is it ?" The knight asks " Now, that is our business isn't it ?" Izzy says sweetly, the knight leads us to the queen's chamber. As soon as we enter we see the queen standing and smiling her sickly sweet smile at all of us. Game on, Your Highness.
The queen looks as young and beautiful as the last time, her auburn hair had a tint of red in it she wore it as a side braid, her dress made up of butterfly wings and flowers. " Well, this is an unexpected surprise." She says and Alec smiles at her " I hope it's a pleasant one" His voice husky, he very well remembered the last time he was here. She claps her hands twice and a table with some chairs and a lot of food is set up in front of us, every one of us knew better than to drink, eat or even smell anything in this realm. " Have a seat " She insists pointing towards the chairs after a few moments.
