" So,what brings you shadowhunters to my humble abode ?" The queen asks while twirling her curls "We want to propose a trade" Jace says calmly " Well,I am not interested in any trade with you Nephilim, and What could you possibly have that i might fancy ?" She says drinking from her glass, while something red stains her lips Wine or blood. " This." Magnus says and pulls out the book, the heavy thump made when it hits the wood table is the only sound for some time. The queen stares at it for some time before breaking the silence " How do you have it ?" She grits every word " That's completely irrelevant " Izzy speaks for the first time " What do you know about it ?" I ask she carefully keeps her hand on the object " It is an ancient , mythological object. Any magical creature that has ever walked this land is mentioned in here"  She says contently " We already know that but its of no use if we don't know how to open it "  Simon says, the queen can not lie but she is the queen of manipulating and twisting the truth " Eager are we ? , well it can not open as it needs a key, the key of true love which is something like a wild goose chase some people say it is mythical and does not exist at all. I suggest you stop wasting your time." She smiles wickedly, she is lying.

" I have had about enough of this " I stand up" You see, i am sick of your games , so until and unless you want to rot in the Gard i suggest you start talking" I speak swiftly and she stands up to stand beside me " Is that a threat, Miss Morgenstern" I am scared and so is everybody but i can't stand down now " No, Your Highness this...this is a warning " i say as my voice drips  in acid  " What makes you think you can ever challenge my authorities  ?" She hisses " I have plenty of angelic properties and you must be aware of what i can do when i unleash, you have seen it your self. Now, we don't want that do we ?" I speak calmly " Let's say i do know where you can get the key , what do i get in return ?" She says " You can get the book back after we use it " Jace says " Fair enough, now to get the key you need to travel to the Echo cave but the catch here is that only two people who love each other above and beyond reason. Can get the key , i assure you that it is not going to be easy, it is called the key of true love only because love is rare and often delusional " I look at Jace and he nods " Me and Clary will go " He says and the queen laughs " You see, only i can choose who goes there " her laugh makes my spine shudder " I choose the both of you" She points at Alec and Magnus , i feel Alec stiffen " No problem" Magnus speaks immediately. 

Alec POV

I move towards the queen as the knights make the preparations " Trying to get between Me and Magnus is a battle you will lose every time, Your Highness" I smirk at her and she plucks a black  rose from the bush " We will see" .

I hug Jace and " Be careful " He whispers after the good byes , Magnus holds my hand " Together " I smile back . I don't know after how many hours or seconds i wake up , "Magnus" I mumble "Here" He gets up " My head is going to explode" He says " What are we going to do , now?" I ask as i stare at the entrance of the cave , there could be anything in there and i have no weapons " Probably something stupid" Magnus grins broadly. It is clear , I love this warlock.
