Nola

The doctor left the room after checking my vitals and said he was going to get the police officer that was assigned to my case. The man that was sitting my bed spoke.

"The names Aaron. If you wanted to know." He said, grabbing my attention.

I look at him and try to smile.

"Nola," I said, "So, you're the one that got me out of the sewers?" I asked

He nodded his head. "How?" I asked, "I barely was able to open the lid."

"I'm a very observant person. I just so happened to be looking at the street when you appeared." He said.

"Thank you," I say.

Just then, the police officer came into the room.

"Miss.Peterson, I am officer Griffen. I have been working on your case for the past 3 years. I am happy that you found your way out, I'm sorry that we weren't able to find you. The people who kidnapped you were able to keep you hidden for a very long time." The officer said.

"If you don't mind, I would like to discuss this privately." He said looking from me to Aaron.

I close my eyes and lightly shake my head.

"If you don't mind, I would like to discuss this with someone else in the room," I said

Officer Griffen nodded his head and I began to tell him what has happened over the years.

~~~
"Do you happen to know where they are?" Officer Griffen asked.
I nod my head. I knew where they were cause they haven't moved from there in the past year. They would only take me outside sometimes, most likely once every few months.
"5712 43rd St," I say "There in the woods."
He took the radio thing that was on his shoulder and spoke into it. Say the address and telling them to have every available person on it.
Once he stopped talking, he looked at me.
"Don't worry mam. They will be in our hands within the next hour." He said.
I nod my head and say "Good, just make sure you don't open fire. There's another girl in there."
He nodded his head and left.
Cara
"We have to leave" I heard David say, probably talking to Logan.
I was in my room, try to pay attention to anything but the pain.
It's been about 3 hours since Nola was able to escape and Logan was finally home. Since there were no phones in the house, David couldn't communicate with Logan and tell him what happened.
"Why?" The voice of Logan came in.
"Nola escaped"
I image Logan's eyes widening.
The sound of movement suddenly became strong. I knew that Nola would probably go to the police station and tell them, but I didn't know when they would be here. Or even if they would believe her.
15 minutes later, I heard the heavy footsteps coming upstairs.
I knew that I would have to keep them here for as long as I could. If the police go there, then all this could be stopped. I would go back and try to have a normal life.
I got up from the bed and hissed in pain. I went to the front of the door and pushed all my weight on to it.
Literally a second later, the door was trying to get open. David was on the other side.
"Cara, open the door," He said in a deadly deep voice.
"No" I shook my head
"CARA, OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT NOW, OR YOU'RE GOING TO GET THE WORST BEATING OF YOUR LIFE" He yelled.
He pushed harder and this time my weight wasn't enough.
I went moving against the floor as the door opened. The pain of me moving made me whimper.
He saw me and grabbed my upper arm and pulled me up like I was a rag doll.
"We're leaving" He hissed and pulled me out of the room.
I tried to move against him. Putting my feet on the floor, opposite of the direction he was going.
It failed and we end up getting to the ground floor. There were bags of stuff and I didn't know what was in them.
Logan was waiting with the bags by the front door.
When he saw David he got the bags and whatever was in the moved and it sounded like something with metal in them.
David grabbed the last bag.
He was about to open the door when we heard the voice of someone outside saying.
"THIS IS THE POLICE. COMING OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP. WE HAVE YOU SURROUNDED"
