So this has nothing to do with the story, but I feel like I should share it with you. I love this video.
Cara
I was at the police station, giving a statement about what happened while I was there. They said they had called my mother and she would be picking me up soon.
Some of what had to talk about was difficult. Like when he raped me. I tried to tell them that I didn't enjoy what he was doing.
I just finished my statement and my mother came into the room. She came over to me with tears in her eyes. She came over to me and gave me the tightest hug.
"I'm so sorry baby. I shouldn't have let him talk to you like that." she said, "I should have gotten rid of him sooner."
I pulled away from the hug and look at her with a confused face. She noticed the confusion.
"I left him." She said, crying a little more.
I was surprised that she did that. My mother has never been the strongest person and for her do something like this, was a good thing.
"Oh god, mom," I said, feeling tears start in my eyes. "Thank you," I said, rewrapping my hands around her.
We hug for a good minute then pull away.
"And just so you know, I'm perfectly okay with you being attracted to girls." She said with a smile as we walk about the station.
I decided not to tell her that I was reconsidering my sexuality, because she would probably think that I have Stockholm syndrome. So I just smile.

Turns out that when my mom left my step-dad, he kicked her out. Luckily my mom had money and was able to get a hotel to stay in for a while.
She said that she found an apartment for her, but now that I was back, we would be moving to a different state. I didn't disagree with her because I have always wanted to move to a different state. I had never been out of New Mexico.
She said that this place had too many bad memories
The police officers told me where Nola was, Incase I wanted to see her.
So that's what I'm doing right now. She was awake and we were able to talk a little.
She didn't have a family because Logan and David killed them, but she was talking about the person who saved her. She said he offered her to stay with him.
I told her that I would be leaving. She seemed sad, but she understood. I gave her my phone number so that she could communicate with me.
We talked for about another hour before visiting hours were over.
