Luke's POV

"This is not bullshit you know. I want you to know that someone close to you is going to die. I'm not going to kill her, don't worry. Whether or not Megan dies, it will depend on you guys." Spencer warned.

"Fuck." I ran my fingers through my hair.

Someone close to you is going to die - these words echo through my head. Well, he described the whole situation wrong. It was someone I love so dearly who was about to die.

"How can we save her? Where is she?" Calum demands.

"La Vie En Rose, Calum. La Vie En Rose." I heard Spencer chuckling in the background then the line went dead.

The four of us were gathered in the living room of our beach house. Nervous and worried at the same time. Where are you, Megan? It has been an hour or two since we were all at Spencer's beach house - when I was explaining everything about what happened from Megan's phone call and stuff.

"What do we do now?" Michael asks.

"The hell I know," Calum responded, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"I never thought that Megan would be so eager to go to this party and Spencer would do this in the middle of the night." I muttered, still worried of what will happen to Megan.

"At first, we were not aware that Megan has gone MIA," Ashton spoke up, leaning against the wall. "We're in New Jersey, a place we're not familiar with. How are we going to find her in just a matter of hours?" He added.

Calum glanced over the clock and back to us. Michael tapped his foot impatiently on the wooden floor.

"Do you think Spencer wants money so she could free Megan? I'm somehow paranoid here." Calum blurted out.

I snorted. "As if it's money he wants. He's a rich douchebag. Like what he said, Aubrey wants revenge."

"Why can't she leave Megan alone? If this has something to do with your relationship with Aubrey, then you should fuck off!" Calum argued, shooting daggers right at me.

It was my turn for me to glare at him. "She needs me, she needs you. Can you just focus on what's happening to Megan right now and leave my relationship with Aubrey behind?"

"Manwhore," Calum seethed.

"Douchebag," I replied back.

"Enough!" Ashton demands. "Can you guys stop bickering like small kids. Are you guys argueing about the color of the damn sky? Well, it's blue!"

"It's black and blue, for your informantion." Michael butted in.

"Stop being sarcastic," Ashton deadpanned. "I think we should call the police. They could try to track where the phone call originated from."

"That would take too long," I said, pacing back and forth. "We're missing something. He mentioned something about La Vie En Rose. What the fuck is La Vie En Rose?"

"La Vie En Rose means life in pink and that was the song Megan and I danced on our date." Calum informed us before his eyes grew bigger. He jumped off his seat and walked towards the counter.

"What are you doing?" Michael asked, standing behind him.

"I think I know where they are." Calum said, fumbling with his thumbs that were randomly tapping on his iPhone screen. "I think they're at the diner. That's my guess."

"That's bullshit. It has to be somewhere wherein we've got in big trouble." I suggested.

"Luke, we've been in New Jersey once. When was the last time we've been in big trouble here in New Jersey?" Michael furrowed with his eyebrows as he gave me a stare.
