Annie’s POV:
When we got to school, again, he opened the door and handed me my bag. “Thanks Blake.” I smiled slightly at him. “No problem. I’ll wait for you outside your class room for lunch, aight?” “Are you really sure you would want to sacrifice your popularity for me?” “In all honesty, I’ll do anything to get you back Rose.” He said with his British accent. GOD! Why does this guy have to be so sweet. “Okay, Ugh I gotta go. See you at lunch.” I said. While walking towards the entrance of the school, I heard shouting at the background.
I turned around to be greeted by Blake and Lacy screaming at each other. Oh crap! She knows that Blake’s trying to earn my trust again. “How dare you go to school with that pathetic and ugly wench?! That freaking nerd is taking you away from me!” Lacy shouted. “No she’s not! She’s a much better person than you ever will be!” Blake defended. “How dare you?! You’re defending that nerd and siding with her when I’m your girlfriend. Blake, are you high or something? Cause honestly, you’ve turned hands down crazy!” Lacy said matter-a-factly. “Not anymore.” “What?!” “We’re over Lacy. I can’t take any more of your attitude. I have enough of your whole being.” That just crossed the line of my shockness. (A/N: It’s not a word I know.) He just practically dumped BV high’s queen bee in front of everybody.
When he saw me, he walked up to me and wrapped his arms around me, slowly whispering “I’m sorry you had to hear that, Rose.” I smiled when he said that. “Hey Blake, I need to tell you something. Something that I’ve kept for so long. Just please let me explain before you get mad. Blake, I’m not who you think I am. I’m a billionaire’s daughter.” I looked down, too nervous to see what Blake’s reaction was. “What? But how?” He said stuttering a bit. “Blake, Nathan Walker is my dad and my mom’s Emma Jane Walker.” “Holy Shit!” I knew it. He’d never want to be my best friend again because I’m pathetic. “I know, you’d think differently about me. So I’m gonna go.” I started to walk away, but he grabbed me and again pulled me to his warm arms and whispered slowly into my ear, “My view of you will never change Rose. You’ll always be my best friend no matter what you have to understand that.” “Really?” I feel as if I’m so pathetic and vulnerable at the same time.
Blake’s POV:
Hearing her say that shocked me. She maybe rich and all that but the way I look at her will never change. She’ll always that gorgeous girl who pretends to be a nerd and most of all, My Best Friend. I’ll never let her go now that I’ve had her again. Not fully but she’s still here, right? You’ll never know how much that person is important to you until he or she is gone. Everything starts from something and something starts from nothing. Right now getting her trust back is my priority.
“Rose, let’s skip.” I said not even bothering about school. “Blake, are you insane? You know I never cut unless it’s important! That’s a big RARELY, Blake.” She started semi-screaming at me. I chuckled at that. She looked unbelievably adorable. “Come on Rose. One day won’t hurt! PLEASE?!” I said giving her my puppy dog eyes which I knew she couldn’t resist. “Alright fine! But you better make this day worth it or I’ll strangle you!” She said trying so hard to be a bit threatening. Which she failed to do and caused us both to laugh. She chastise my remarks all too well. GOSH! She’s such a cutieeee! “Alright then, let’s go!” We got in the car and I started driving.
The place I was bringing her to was our secret place which happened to be a clearing deep in the forest. Driving there for about 20 minutes, I blind folded Rose up. “What the hell is this for Blake Callen Grey?“ [A/N: I changed Blake’s last name to Grey.] Oops! She only calls me by my whole name when she’s almost pissed.
“Chill Rose, it’s a surprise so I had to blind fold you. “ “Ugh fine. Next time, at least warn me?” she semi-scowled semi-ground. “Yes M’lady.” Using my british aaccent on her. I got out and went to her side of the car and carried her out. She slightly yelped at the fact that I had carried her without even telling her. When I reached the clearing, I put her down and removed the blind fold slowly while waiting for her reaction.
“Blake, this is…..”
