Nico POV

I don't understand. How could Percy die? He is the Hero and Savior of Olympus. He survived Tartarus. Well at least he will make Elysium. Though it still doesn't make sense. I know he is dead I saw his shroud burned but, I didn't get the same feeling I do when others die. It was ther for a second or two and then gone. I talked to my Father about it and he said we would talk later, because he has a meeting on Olympus.

I have been spending more time to myself. I had started coming around. I had accepted the fact that Kelp Head is more of a older brother to me, and that was fine.

The Camp is devastated. No one worse than Annabeth. The rest of The Seven is next with Thalia, Reyna, and I. Then Clarisse though she'll never admit to missing Prissy. Gods I'm starting to think Octavain is missing him. He has been acting less cocky and more angry lately. The Campfire is small and dull color reflecting everyone's feelings. But now the Gods decided they want a meeting.

They called all of the Cabin Heads and the Praetors to the Olympus throne room. We had to literally drag Annabeth out of Cabin 6. Once we did we Argus drove us all to the Empire State Building. We got the card for the guy at the desk and we are currently waiting in the elevator cursing Apollo for this music.

Thalia POV

We walk out the elevator and Annabeth silently leads the way to the throne room. The 12 Olympians, Hades and Hestia sit waiting. My eyes instanly go to Poseidon. He looks worse than devastated. Which explains the oceans. On the news many boats have encountered unexpected storms. A hurricane is due to hit Florida in a few days. I bring myself to look at his eyes. There is no happiness in them. They look angry and full of sadness. I look away my own sadness bubbling up.

I glance around the room. Most of the Olympains wait staring at my Father. Athena shrunk down to human size and gives Annabeth a hug. Hades has shrunk and is in deep conversation with Nico. Poseidon stares into nothing. Zeus clears his throat getting attention and surpringsly Hades is the one to speak.

"He's not quite dead."

Percy POV

I look at the one word note and only two thoughts go through my head.

1. Soon seriously? I mean how cheesier can my life get

2. What is happening soon? There are so many possibilities.

3. Wow, I need to straighten my priorties.

4. Wait that was 3 well this is 4...

Ugh, ADHD. Whatever. I just want to know what is happening soon.

"Instead of soon it can happen now!" I yell at nothing and unexpectedly I get a reply. Another note falls infront of me. I reach out and grab it. It is written in cursive and it takes me a minute to read, and as soon as I almost figure it out it is gone and another appears. I grab this one and thankfully it is written in Greek.

We meant to put the last one in Greek it said:

You do need to straighten your priorties. You also need to learn patience. It will happen soon. You should also learn manners and respect. We brought you back but, that doesn't mean we still won't cut your thread.

I stare wide eyed at the note and put it down gently next to the first one on the dresser as if it is a grenade about to explode. I sit on the bed a million questions rolling through my head. I bet Annabeth would have the answer. She always does even if it is as insane as drinking fire water. Annabeth... No I can't keep doing this to myself. The words from the note ring loudly in my head. You should also learn manners and respect.

Well if it mean I can get on their good side, it is worth a shot... I stand up before bowing.

"I am sorry for my actions Lady Fates," I say. I stand up again and turn to the bed to see a plate on it one blue chocolate chip cookie. Next to it another note.

That's a start.

I smile to myself.

"Thank you, Lady Fates." I sit on the bed and begin to nibble on my cookie, trying to figure out how long it has been since I have been polite to an immortal.
