Annabeth POV

Aprodite summons a love seat and shoves Percy into it, then me on his lap. We both blush and our friends snicker. He snaps once and the chair becomes a small couch and I sit next to him.

"So what should she be goddess of?" Aprodite asks excited.

"No," A stern voice says. I turn and see the Fates. "No," Lachesis repeats. "Not now. Perhaps afterwards."

"After what?" Athena asks. The Fates look at each other and I notice as Percy stiffens next to me.

"The war," Atropos answers.

"What war?" I ask.

"Long ago there was a prophecy one you all have forgotten," Lachesis says. "It tells of a Hero trained by the Fates who must face three evils." They pause letting that sink in and I hear as Percy mutters something to himself. I'm not able to catch what he says but, he stares at the floor. I have to know more.

"What is the Prophecy?" I ask.

"Perseus?" Lachesis asks kindly. Wait kindly? He sighs and nods. He sits straight up before speaking.

"As one evil falls three soon arise

A hero lost must return, and so he rises

He will be trained by those of the thread

Or once again fall dead

In the end four of his lie still

Four almost cause him to lose his will

The sky, the beauty, the healer, and the slayer

To defeat the evils his final prayer

The flaw slowly tears him apart

Once thinking of ending his own heart

The evils defeat the hero or the evils life is cost

Either way the hero is lost"

He finishes and we stare at him. No one says a word. Even Leo is speechless.

"So... Basically I have to die and so will four other people no matter the outcome..." He says sadly.

"Perseus you shall return home and we will continue to speak of the situation," Atropos says. At the word 'home' I think Camp but, Percy's eyes open wide.

"Come on! Please? I'm so bored there. I have no one to talk too. Blackjack drives me insane. The stupid monsters just get agravating. The water has no life. Can't I stay here?"

"No." The Fates answer in unison.

"Can I have my TV back? It's been three years. I've learned my lesson."

"No."

"Can my friends come?"

"No."

"Just for the day?"

"No."

"Just for a couple hours?"

"N- fine," Lachesis answers.

"Yes!" Percy shouts.

"Call your steed," she says as she hands him am envelope he snaps his fingers and his backpack appears and so does Blackjack appears. He neighs and Percy says.

"We are going home... I don't care if you liked that mare!... Her name doesn't matter..."

Clotho clears her throat and he rolls his eyes. He waves to the Olympians before the Fates tell us to close our eyes.
