Percy POV

The gods flash us back to camp and I smile as I look at everything. My friends keep talking but I'm not really listening. I head straight to my old cabin. I open the door and head inside. I am greeted by the great sea smell. It looks like no one has even been in here since I died. I summon some water from the fountain I once destroyed and quickly clean the dust and dirt from the cabin.

I place my bag on my old bunk and begin looking through my old stuff. I wince as I see my old orange t-shirts. I pick it up and am about to change when I thought crosses my mind.

I can't get to comfortable. This is just like a mission.

I put the shirt back. I am comfortable in my all black outfit anyway.

Annabeth POV

Once we got back we began talking and arguing over what we should do first. Percy doesn't seem to care and walks off. We follow him and call his name but he doesn't seem to be listening. He walks straight to Cabin 3. Surprise. Surprise.

He is in there for a few minutes, we don't follow allowing him some space. After it looks like putting his bag down, he walks over to us and waits. After more bickering we decide to hang out a Bunker 9. Leo leads the way and when we get there we spread out on the floor and talk. We tell Percy what he has missed. He mostly listens and asks questions or comments occasionally (writing in water).

I watch him out of the corner of my eye. A few times I see him look at me sadly and each time I just wonder: What is so bad the Fates won't let him tell us?

We hang out until the conch sounds for dinner. When we get to the dining pavilion we take our seats but Percy stands next to Chiron. Some campers notice him and whisper. Chiron pounds the ground with one of his hooves.

"Campers! We have a returning camper! Everyone Perseus Jackson." I notice Percy flinches at the use of his full name. Something's don't change. "Hero and Savior of Olympus!" Percy smiles and gives a wave. I can tell he is trying not to blush as everyone cheers. Chiron stomps again.

"He has been forbidden by The Fates themselves to speak of what has happened to him. To be sure they have took his voice." Whispers are heard throughout. I look at Percy to see I can tell anything from his face. He seems completely calm and nonchalant. As if this an everyday occurrence.

"Really? Or is he to big of a wuss to tell us?!" A voice rings over everyone else's. Everyone turns to glare at Damien Andrix. An Ares kid.

"Shut it! Andrix!" Clarrise yells. Damien is an annoyingly cocky guy. He came not long after Percy d-d- left. He has heard the stories but doesn't seem convinced appearantly. Most people hate him because he hates Percy.

I turn back to Percy. He looks at Damien with a confused look. Probably trying to figure out who he is. After a while he seems to give up and shrugs. He grabs a goblet from a nearby table and then writes is water.

Who are you? And should I know who you are?

"Yeah you should know! I'm the best swordman here! Damien Andrix son of Ares," Damien yells. Percy looks at him and pauses. Damien uses the pause to his advantage. "See the great Percy Jackson knows I'm better than him." Percy's eyes flash with anger for less than a millisecond. I've only seen that anger when he fought Gaea and Kronos. Though I seem to be the only one who noticed. Percy seems to be having a fight with himself for a moment before he writes.

Prove it. After dinner we spar.

"You're on!" Damien says nodding in agreement. Percy then sits down at the Posedion table as if nothing had happened.

Percy POV

"Yeah you should know! I'm the best swordman here! Damien Andrix son of Ares," He yells. I pause deciding if he is worth my time. "See the great Percy Jackson knows I'm better than him." That makes me mad. I bury my anger quickly knowing the Fates taught me better than that.

Yes. Yes we did. Clotho's voice rings in my head. As usual we all ignore her.

Would I be allowed to spar the guy? I ask.

Do not kill him. Atropos says.

I was just going to fight him and win. I'm the god of swordsmanship. Don't worry.

Then you may. Lachesis answers.

This will be fun. Clotho says.

I look back at the crowd and I write in water.

Prove it. After dinner we spar.

The idiot agrees and I sit at the Poseidon table. I get up and get my food and get in line to make a sacrifice. I haven't done this since I died. Afterwords I sit back down and eat.

Annabeth POV

After dinner we head down into the arena. Damien smirks pleased with himself as he gets into a fighting stance. Percy calmly stands hands in his pockets looking bored. Damien charges him. Percy doesn't move. When Damien is about to hit him he doges constantly but, still never draws a weapon. Damien steps back confused. Percy cocks his head before giving him a lopsided smile. He reached his hand in his pocket and pulls out Riptide.

"What are you going do? Write on me?" Damien scoffs. Percy uncaps Riptide and smiles again at Damien's reaction. Percy lunges and Damien tries to counter but Percy is to fast. He disarms him and points Riptide at the back of Damien's throat. And all in less than 10 seconds. Damien gulps and Percy caps Riptide and pockets it. Then walks over to us. Everyone stares at him mouth hanging open. I give him a quick hug but he pulls away. He shrugs at the crowd and walks off toward the lake.

We all hurry down to the lake and take a seat. Not knowing how long he'll be down there we wait.

"Annabeth what's wrong?" Thalia asks. I look back at the group.

"Nothing. Why?" I answer. She rolls her eyes.

"Great. What really bothering you."

"It's just... Percy hasn't really hugged me or anything. I not being needy or anything. But he barely even looks at me. I just want to know what's wrong with him."

"I'm sure that- You idiot Death Breath!" Thalia yells slapping Nico as Percy comes out of the lake. The two bicker and Percy rolls his eyes and sits stands next to us.

We then headed to the campfire, afterward we went to bed but, I can't stop thinking about Percy. I just need to know. But, I guess it can wait until morning.

It's early, no one else is up yet. The sun has barely risen. But I need to talk to Percy. I quietly hop out of bed and slip on my shoes and head out toward his cabin. The whole time nervously rubbing the engament ring he gave on my camp necklace. A gray diamond surounded by small sea-green and blue ones. After he di- left I put there next to my dad's class ring.

I knock on the door and get no reply. I open in quietly but he is gone. His stuff is no where to be seen either.

"Percy?" I call out, but I receive no reply. Percy is not known for being an early bird so... Where'd he go?
