"...ney, I'm home!"

I jumped, opening my crusty eyes as Marah shifted, his arm still tight around my arms.

"Marah," I said lowly, "my mom's home."

Marah groaned. "What'd you say?" He slurred, sitting up.

I tapped his shoulder, the urgency in my voice completely apparent.

Marah sat up. "Your mom?"

Then, slowly waking up, he shouted, "Oh, sh*t, your mom!" He jumped off the bed, running to his clothes, grabbing them, then running to the rest room.

I chuckled, then stood up anxiously, tapping my bare thigh as I grabbed a sweatshirt off of the nightstand and threw it on. I groaned when I saw my underwear on the ground, seriously considering going commando because I was so not feeling the whole bending down thing, as it was laying in front of my feet.

I rolled my eyes at my laziness and bent down, grabbing them and slipping them on. I pulled my sweatshirt down, humming as I searched for my pants.

I found them, but they were all rumpled up. So, I threw them in a dirty clothes basket and pulled on a pair of black and white Nike shorts I found in my dresser.

I ran my hands through my hair, blinking awake. I sniffed the room and frowned, grabbing a can of Febreeze and showering my room with it.

No reason, really, I was just anxious that someone would be able to smell it or something.

'It' being the activities Marah and I had done just a couple hours earlier.

Sighing, I slumped my shoulders as I realized that I had school tomorrow.

"(Y/N)," my mom yelled from downstairs, "are you even home?"

I snorted. "Yeah, Mom!"

I heard her drop something heavy, and I frowned. "I need you to help me unload the groceries, (Y/N)!"

When I just stood there, staring at my door, she yelled, "That means move your *ss, babe!"

My restroom door opened and out came Marah, looking as cute as ever. He stared at me, then blushed. "U-um, should I, like, disappear? Or climb out of your window and meet you downstairs so I could hang out with you more?"

I shrugged. "Whichever choice you're feeling, really. But, you should try not to act all awkward around my mom- she'll think that somethings up."

Marah pecked me on the cheek, nearing my window. "I know, I know, I learned it all in 'Impress Your Girlfriend's/Boyfriend's Mother 101'."

I chuckled, watching him open the window. "You dork."

He put one leg through, turned around, and winked. "But, you love me for it, don't you?"

I arched an eyebrow at his cockiness. "Are you gonna act lol this for a while?"

Marah frowned. "Act like what?"

"Like you scored," I said in a 'obviously' tone.

He winked once again before turning, saying, "Well, I can't help it, since I actually did just score."

And with that, he hopped out, but not before saying, "Love you, I'll see you Wednesday."

I mumbled, "Love you, too," but he was gone.

It was Tuesday night.

A long, achingly boring Tuesday night.
