The Story Of Hawkeye

Chapter 13

Of course Clinton went first. 

Clinton recalled Captain America saying 'You need to stay safe. So always, just follow us' once.

Clinton sighed. He put his first foot forward. The stair made a cracking noise like an eggshell. The stair crumbled to pieces. 

Very safe. Clinton mimicked. He held onto the walls hoping for support.

Clinton tried to go as slow as possible on the ways down. Every time he heard a stair crack, his heart jumped and he grabbed onto the wall tighter. 

By the time Clinton got to the bottom, Clinton's knuckles where as red as a tomato. His palms had gray paint all over them. 

Right behind him was Natasha and Bruce Banner. Whenever Clinton looked behind him, he saw Natasha smiling down at him. He would always smile back. At least he tried to.

"It should be down this way." Tony said looking at the device. He pointed to a tunnel to the team's right. 

"I don't think I even want to go straight." Bruse pinched his nose. Coming from straight ahead was an odor way worse than anything smelly you can imagine. 

Clinton agreed and followed the team.

The team ended up in a large, good-sized, pitch black room. Clinton took a breath and almost gagged. It smelled as if he was standing right in front of one hundred sweating, stinky football players. 

Clinton turned around and realized that everybody else was gagging to. Bruce Banner turned green (like a sick expression. Sorry, I had to add that 😏) from holding his breath for too long. 

"Nice smell." Natasha said being sarcastic. "Now we got to battle while holding our noses. Fun!" 

As if on cue, a voice was heard through the darkness. "Oh, so you like my friends then?"

I know the two things you are thinking. 

It been SOOO long GreekWarriors! Why don't you write? 

Well it's a simple answer. Because I've been so busy and running around everywhere, school, baseball and I never got any chances to write.

Too short.

Another simple answer. I will hopefully make a new chapter tonight so you will have more reading to do.
