Darkness

That's all Clinton saw when he plunged into the hole. He felt as if he was back in the stinky room with the light off again, only this felt different. He was falling.

He could hear faint screams and some laughter. BloodVein's voice rang in his head. "You are not as tough as the others. If you didn't come I would've spared your life."

"Even after you killed my parents? Not a chance bud." Clinton muttered. It was taking what felt like hours to get to the bottom.

Then Clinton's eyes went wide. "No... how am I so dumb?" Clinton knew what BloodVein meant.

"You will not survive the fall." BloodVein's voice rang in his head again. "You're not like the others!"

Clinton held out his arm and felt nothing but a stone wall. "The clock is ticking!" BloodVein cheerfully said.

That's when Clinton got an idea. "Not yet! You might've killed my parents but not me!" Clinton reached to his quiver and pulled out an arrow. He knocked the bow he was holding.

"Not yet." Clinton confirmed and he let the arrow fly upwards.

All Clinton heard was a silent bang when he felt a tug on his bow keeping him in one spot.

"HA! IN YOUR FACE BLOODVEIN!!! GRAPPLING HOOK ARROW!!"Clinton cheered. He lowered his foot and found solid ground. Clinton disconnected the rope from the bow and looked around him.

Nothing but darkness.

"That's just—" Clinton complained but he was cut off by a sound sort of like a piston.

Clinton could hear gears a levers turning and mechanical items turning on and off.

Suddenly what sound like a gunshot, something raced towards Clinton.

Clinton felt pain in the back of his neck as he fell to the ground.
