meet Scott at fourteen

Scott enter the fast food restaurant with a few of his friends, they joins the line and began debating what they're going to buy. They were in deep conversation about who was going to buy what when by chance he glance over to his left and realize he was the primary focus of the most captivating pair of brown eyes he had ever seen on anyone.

He knew he should probably look away, break eye contact, something, anything but he couldn't and a part of him really didn't want to but was force to when one of his friends began tugging his shirt.

"What're you getting man?" His friend asks in an impatient tone. "One sec." Scott said walking away from them. "With a small smile he approach her and sit opposite her. "Hi, come here often?" He ask and she snorts as she stifle a laugh.

"Are you asking me if I'm addicted to fast food?" She ask narrowing her eyes at him even though he could see she was trying not to laugh.

"Nope, I just wanted to see you smile." He chuckles. "I'm Scott. You attend my school but I've never seen you before." He said leaning his head to the side. "I'm new, I'm in grade seven two and I've seen you before, lots of times with your friends." She said her eyes boring into his

"Okay then, in that case I'll make it my duty to see you on Monday." He said with a smile. "So can I know your name before I go?" He asks. "It's jasmine." "Okay Jazzy, enjoy your weekend. I'll see you on Monday." He smile and got up.

"See you on Monday younger version of Avan Jogia." She giggles. "Notice that too huh?" He asks shaking his head. "Kind of hard to miss." She laughs.

Later that afternoon Mr. Jackson had just finish with one patient and was waiting for the next one when Mr. Edwards barged in instead slamming the door shut behind him. Mr. Jackson didn't even flinch.

He has been expecting this man ever since Amara arrived at his house. "Just who the hell do you disgusting people think you are?" He barks in a scornful tone.

"You and your nauseating life style choices. You call yourself Seventh Day Adventist, people of God." He sneers in utter disgust. "Yet you have my daughter shocking up at your house with that imbecile of a person you call a son." He sneers.

"Mr. Jackson shakes his head, took a deep breath and lean back in his chair. He had been lenient with Caleb from he was small up to this point because if he was to be honest with himself he would've to admit that Caleb inherit his temper.

He knew what it felt like to have undiluted anger running through his veins and right now he would love nothing more than to smash this man's head into the wall which is exactly what Caleb would do, but no, he had to be adult about this and put this man in his place.

"You really do have a way with words, don't you?" He asks calmly. "If you think I'm going to stand by and let you corrupt my baby girl then you're dead wrong. You can raise your delinquents any way you like but you'll not do the same to my daughter." He said scornfully.

"Maybe if you had raised your children to live like decent human beings my daughter wouldn't be carrying that thing inside her right now, that won't live to see the light of day if I have anything to say about it."

"I want my baby girl out of your house and back home by tonight or else!" He barks. "Or else what?" Mr. Jackson asks coldly. "It's such a sad thing when a young lady has to flee her home in the middle of the night and seeks refuge someplace else because the people she looks to for love and support wants to take the life of her unborn child. Your grandchild. My grandchild and it will be a cold day in hell before I let you harm either of them." Mr. Jackson states firmly.
