Chapter 61

AN: I'm back my lovelies, let's do this thing.

Tyler smiles as he exits the OR, another successful operation, another life saved. He has been getting great reviews from the chief of surgeries, and from the Advance medical team in Atlanta. He has been helping them with some very difficult cases and they couldn't stop raving about him. Every now and then these doctors here would hint that he will make an excellent candidate for chief of surgeries in the future.

He wasn't going to lie; he was really liking the sound of that. He went to the locker room got his phone and was about to call Janice when a nurse grabbed him by the arm. "Dr Jackson, I've been looking for you everywhere, come with me quickly, your wife is here." She said out of breath as she dragged him down the passage.

He rushed into the room and saw his wife, his precious kitten sobbing uncontrollably. He rushed over to her and wrapped his arms around her protectively. "Shh, it's okay kitten I'm here, I'm here now." He whispers softly as she grips his shirt tightly.

"Hey, look at me, shh, look at me kitten, what happened? Tell me what happened to you kitten." He asks softly as he soothes her hair and cheeks. He could feel her body relaxing as the sedative that the doctor gave her began taking effect. "Leon's brother....he attacked me." She said drowsily.

"Leon's brother? Who's Leon's brother kitten? I don't understand kitten." He said in a panic tone. "The man....that was stalking me....the one Chris draw. Leon's brother....shot Jayden." She said her voice barely a whisper. "Where's Leon's brother now?" He asks holding her head against his chest.

"Police....have him." "Dr Jackson, she really needs to rest, her blood pressure is very high and the baby is in distress...." "Our baby." Ty snaps. "Not the baby, our baby is in distress and I know that but I also need to know what happened to my wife." He said annoyed with the nurse for pointing out the obvious.

"Kitten, where is Jayden?" He asks massaging her hands. "Man shot Jayden, Ty...you have...to...help...him." She breathes out as her head went limp against his chest. Ty bites his lips to suppress his anger as he gently lay her head on the pillow.

"Her doctor is on the way; I'll stay with her until she gets here, you go and find the person that you're asking about." The nurse said as he got up but for a few minutes, all he did was stand there staring at his sleeping wife.

"They're going to be fine, she just needs to rest." The nurse said in a reassuring tone. He turns to leave but stops as a breathless Jason rushed into the room. "Oh, thank God, you're here, how is she?" "Extremely traumatized but with some rest, her blood pressure should return to normal," Ty said walking over to his wife and caressing her cheek.

"Okay good, so um as it turns out Jayden was shot at close range in his chest. The bullet barely missed his heart but his condition is still very critical. He is currently in surgery and Samson is in room 208 with his extremely hysterical wife." Jason said with a heavy sigh as they leave the room.

"Wait, Samson?" Tyler asks confused. "Yeah, apparently he was the one that save your wife, again. He literally took the bullet for her." "Samson was shot!" Ty asks walking faster down the passage. "Yes he was but it's not serious, he was shot in his bicep, he said he didn't even know he was shot until someone points out that he was bleeding." Jason snorts. "No wonder, dude is built like a soldier tank.

"This is all your fault! I know you people were bad news the moment he told me about you." Samson's wife screamed at Ty the moment he and Jason enter the room. "Easy baby girl, this is not their fault," Samson said in a calm tone.

"Like hell it isn't, if you weren't hanging out with these people, you wouldn't have gotten shot!" She shouts again. "Baby girl, please remember you're in a hospital, keep your voice down," Samson said also in a calm tone. Ty was amazed at how calm Samson remain while his wife was foaming at the mouth with anger.
