Chapter 3- The New School

Quick reminder when a name has : after it, it means they are speaking out loud. If the name has a - after it, it means this is what they are thinking in their head. These *_____* are just narration parts

AFTER DINNER

Sofia-Time to get to work, it was too risky to do this at home. After all it's why I moved here....

*After Sofia unpacks, she pulls out a small duffel bag big enough to only carry a few medium sized items. She then changes out of her pajamas and into normal jeans and a shirt, and teleports away*

MORNING

*Sofia comes back and quickly changes out of her dirty clothes and into her school outfit, then resets her alarm because it already went off*

Sofia- Today is my first day at school, I hope no one bothers me

Sofia: Morning! Breakfast smells delicious.

Kurumi: Good morning!

Sofia- She seems to be in her normal peppy mood...

Sofia: Good morning Saiki-kun.

Saiki: Good morning Sofia-chan.

Kurumi & Kuniharu- They are so formal with each other, good grief...

Saiki- Saiki-kun, where did that come from? I haven't heard her call me by that before, at least I don't think so.

*Saiki then notices the japanese customs book underneath Sofia's arm. Sofia sees Saiki looking at her book*

Sofia: I haven't gotten far in it yet only to proper suffixes and honorifics. My next chapter is addressing elders

Saiki- ah that explains it....

Saiki: oh well we better hurry up if we want to make it to school on time

ON THE WAY TO SCHOOL

Sofia- I don't know if I should ask the teacher not to introduce me, because at my last school all of the boys were praising me for my humbleness. On the other hand if I let her introduce me as usual then I will get people crowding around my desk like crazy asking me questions. Uuggghhhh...

Saiki- This would be so easy if I could read her mind but I still can't figure out what's blocking me. She looks so tense, and if I don't find out now I'm going to regret it later I'm sure. Good grief this means I have to make small talk with her to find out.

Saiki: Why do you look so worried?

Sofia- He spoke! I thought he was gonna stay silent this whole time. Gotta find an excuse.....

Sofia: Oh it's just new school jitters I guess...

Saiki: Oh

AT SCHOOL

*When walking up to the shoe lockers, Teruhashi & Aiura see Sofia & Saiki walk in together, put their shoes into the lockers and walk away together*

Teruhashi- Another Girl! Does she also like Saiki?

Aiura- Who's that girl, and why is she walking next to Saiki?

Aiura & Teruhashi- I have to find out more!!

Sofia & Saiki- Good grief

*After Saiki showed Sofia around, and they knew Teruhashi and Aiura was stalking them, class started*

Teacher: Students settle down, we have a new transfer student from America. Please come introduce yourself

Sofia: Hello (All the boys but Sakik gasp at her beauty and say 'Oh!'). My name is Sofia, and I used to live in America. I can speak 7 languages. I was a gifted student which means my IQ was higher than 130. I hope we can all get along. (Bows then sits down in the only available seat next to Saiki.)

*The lesson then proceeds as normal but one time Sofia fell asleep. The teacher became angry since it was her first day and she was already falling asleep. He asked her a question from off the board, expecting her to answer incorrectly so they can lecture her, but she answers correctly without hesitation and goes back to sleep. Lunch time rolls around and Sofia asks Saiki to show her the way to the front office with a plan in mind*

Sofia- If I push him into an empty classroom I can gather information from him and find out why I can't read his mind. Afterwards I can just erase his memory. This has a 78.5% chance of working.

*Saiki & Sofia where both lost in thought trying to figure out possibilities to why they can't read each other's minds they do not notice Teruhashi and Aiura watching them. Sofia checks the classroom next to them to make sure it's empty, it is.*

Sofia- NOW!

*Saiki taken by surprise is suddenly lead by the hand into the room. Sofia then trips over a chair and pulls SAiki down on top of her. She had already used her telekinesis to close the door just as they ran in*

Sofia- Ow, jeez, that hurt really bad. I didn't expect to fall, so I couldn't catch myself. Uuuggghhh. I can't get up.

*She opens her eyes slowly and sees Saiki on top of her his hands on her wrists, staring into her eyes. Both of them taken aback, they quickly get off of each other. Neither of them know what to say and Sofia is losing her control over her emotions. She can't go back to her original plan because she is blushing so much, she gets up and runs. The same moment Teruhashi & Aiura heard the crash and ran into the room, Sofia running past them, cheeks flared. As they look inside they see Saiki getting up slowly after coming back to reality, fixing the desks and chairs where that were pushed out of the way, and leaving going after Sofia. Teruhashi & Aiura are left confused on what to think*

Saiki- What was she trying to do? Why did she pulling me in there? Why did she blush and run away? Was Teruhashi & Aiura watching us? I should've paid more attention.

Sofia- Why did I run away? Why was he looking at me like that? Those two girls were watching us, do they like Saiki, or are they friends with him? Why was I blushing so much? Why am I still blushing? Oh god.....

*Lunch ends and everyone returns to class and finishes the rest of the school day like nothing happened. Sofia was still slightly blushed the whole time. As they were leaving Teruhashi & Aiura see Saiki and Sofia leaving together, (having no life) they follow. As they reached Saiki's home they see them go in together*

Teruhashi- What!? Are they living together? No....

Teruhashi: She must be visiting then, right?

Aiura: Yes she must.

Teruhashi: Can't you look into your glass ball and find out what's going on?

Aiura: No, no matter how much I try see what happening I can't see anything, it's as if she she has some mysterious power protecting her.....

*They stay there late until they have to leave. This night Sofia doesn't go out like she did last night.*

Sofia- I'm glad my partner is taking over for me today...

*Saiki's mind flashes back to the moment he fell on her. He then smiles slightly, confused at what he's feeling but leaves that for tomorrow*
