The journey began well past the sun's set
Moonlight glimmering and the grass still wet
Destination did not exist to me
Just running to flee
To wander in the vastness of this earth
Is to see the wondrous feeling of birth
Of knowledge and hunger for the new
In which vast horizons come into view
Lost in the unknown, I am unafraid of of this land
From the desert to the ocean, making in the sand
A small footprint in the universe
At journey's end, the wander of running must disperse
