Screams, weeps, last breaths out,
Smoky skies, water on fire, ground gaped,
Bloom of hatred blossomed from a jealous sprout,
This eternal eclipse, cities were swept.
Mothers running, some falling desperate,
Young ones crying by their side,
Wishing on the invisible star not to meet their fate,
Not until their kids are safe in the hide.
Fathers, lost, to fight the dark was too much,
No light, just lightning strikes,
In the box of future, there's left one match,
Left no choice, merely pawns to someone's likes.
Wars are raging, it's not how it should be,
Hate, rather than love, this world rules.
Why is it so? Has care chosen to flee?
What are we doing? Plainly playing fools.
