Oil & water

The words that once felt so warm,
Thy voice never left me alone,
Years and years, in our small dome,
Latching on each other, almost twin-born.

Inseparable like milk and honey,
We're like oil and water nowadays,
There's all around fog, once, it was sunny,
Once a two-way road, now there's no more ways.

Salt-watered rivers once streamed,
Let out for the friendship that faded,
Trailing only a need
and a heart that's jaded.

Still here, but only when you must,
When others aren't near,
Off my picture you wipe the dust,

The lightning hit already more then twice,
But I keep coming back, every time,
And every time, one pays the price.

...
I really don't know what to say XD
I wrote this, thinking about that one friend I have who I keep coming back to and I don't know why.
Anyway, please vote if you have enjoyed and/or can relate :D
