Chapter 32

Paige's POV

I screamed out in pain as i fell to the ground with a loud thud. The dirt on the ground burned my open cuts. I looked up and tried to see if their was an escape. I looked down in defeat as Seth stood in front of me. "How many times to I have to tell you that aren't getting out of here princess?" He said to me. I knew I was gonna die, but I had to fight I couldn't just give in the way I had been whenever he attacked me. I took every last bit of energy I had left in me and lungged forward punching him in the nuts. He fell to the ground in agony. I jumped up and ran. I ran and ran and ran. i just kept running not knowing if he was behind me. I wasn't taking any chances. I turned to look while running and tripped and fell. I felt pain in my right arm. I heard a pop and searing pain. My arm was on fire. I tried to get up and fell back down from the pain. "Paige?" I heard a voice in the distance. I couldn't make out who it was. I managed to get up and was leaning against a wall holding my arm. I heard the voice again and this time I could tell it was Dean. OMG Dean was here. He came to save me.

Dean's POV

I ran into the arena not even waiting for Roman. I started frantically searching for Paige. "Paige" I yelled but there was no answer. I came up a little further and yelled for again. Still no answer. "Dean" Roman called to me. I put my hand up and showed him where I was at. He ran over to me. "Lets split up and cover more ground." I told him motioning for him to go straight. He ran off in that direction. I walked in a little further and called for her one more time. "Paige" I yelled. This time I heard something and headed in that direction. "Dean don't!" I heard Paige scream. I stopped dead in my tracks. I saw Paige come from behind the wall. Seth was behind hold a knife to her neck. "Hey there Deany boy" he scowled at me. He was covered in blood. Paige's I presumed. "Come to join the party did you?" He said. "Seth just let her go man." You've already had your fun, right." What do you need her for?" I pleaded with him saying anything I could possibly think of to get him to let her go. "You think I am that stupid?" He laughs at me. "I know you are just trying to get her, that's all you have done since the beginning is try to get her!" He screamed at me. The fire in his eyes was so intense I thought it might burn a hole right through me. He had so much hate in those eyes. He wasn't going to let Paige go. "OK man" I said holding my hands up in defense. "You don't think I know how much you wanted her? That's all you wanted was her!" He screamed at me again. He was losing it.

Seth's POV

I couldn't believe Dean trying to play me for a fool. Did he really think that I was gonna fall for that? "Then what did you do?" I asked him "You got her, but no that wasn't enough for you." "You had to go and get yourself another girl and break Paige's heart." I yelled at him. "See Paige never wanted you. I did I always wanted you!" I screamed at her. I pressed the knife harder into her neck. Dean took a step towards me. I grabbed Paige's hair and yanked her head back. She let out a scream and I pointed the knife at Dean. "Step back man I will cut her throat!" I threatened. Dean stepped back. "Ok man, just calm down" "CALM DOWN" I screamed at him. "Who the fuck are you to tell me to calm down?" I felt myself losing it again. I put the knife back to Paige's throat. "I loved you so much Paige I would've done anything for you!" I sobbed. Why did you do this to me?" I screamed! Just then I felt this force from behind.

Roman's POV

I rammed into Seth knocking him to the ground and knocking the knife out of his hand. I jump on his back and start swinging. He throws me off. I fall to the ground. I see him going for the knife so I get up and try to keep him from grabbing the knife again. I saw Dean lunge forward and grab Paige. I grabbed Seth around the waist and slammed him to the ground. He got the better of me by elbowing me in the face. I grabbed my face and felt him kick me in the stomach. I finally was able to get on my feet. Seth was standing in front of me. Somehow he had got the knife. I looked around and saw Dean leaning over Paige. Seth took a swipe at me. He missed. I waited for my chance and went for the knife.

Dean's POV

"Paige, I've got you" I told her holding her in my arms as she sobbed. I could hear Seth and Roman fighting. I turned around and saw Roman go for the knife. No. I thought. I ran over there. I saw it happening. There was nothing I could do. I tried to get over there. I was running but it didn't feel like I was going anywhere. I saw the knife plunge into Roman's chest. "NOOOOOOOOOOO" I heard Paige scream. Roman fell to the floor. Blood pouring from his chest. I was frozen there for what felt like an eternity. Seth pulled the knife from Roman's chest and went for another swing when I rammed into him. I got on top of him and slugged him in the face over and over again. I felt his nose break with one final blow. Somehow even after that he managed to gain the upper hand. He knocked me over and I felt the wind of the swing that missed my head. I slugged him in the stomach. I heard the knife fall to the floor. That didn't stop him though. He took his hands and wrapped both of them around my throat. "Finally you are getting what you deserve." He said choking the life out of me. I could feel myself fading.

Seth's POV

This was it! I thought to myself. Finally I am going to get my revenge. I had had so much fun making Paige pay for what she did to me, but I didn't realize this was the release I needed. I could Dean's life slipping away. This brought me so much joy. I smiled and squeezed harder. Suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my back. I let go of Dean's throat and fell to the ground.

Dean's POV

I was fading, fading away. I wasn't able to save her. I'm sorry Paige I told myself. But just as I was about to give up I could breathe again. I sat up coughing and saw Paige standing there. Seth was on the ground. He had a knife in his back. "Paige?" I said still trying to catch my breath. "Oh my god!, Are you ok? Dean!" she yelled at me. She ran over to me and wrapper her arms around me. "Im alright." I told her. We look over at Roman lifeless on the floor. Paige ran over to him. I couldn't believe my friend was gone. "DEAN!!!!" I heard Paige scream. I ran over to see what she was talking about. "He's alive!!" She yelled. I saw Roman open his eyes and flash me his famous smirk. "I thought you were dead man!" I told him grabbing his hand. "Me too!" He answered. He wasn't out of the woods completely. I could tell he needed a doctor. I glanced at the floor to make sure Seth was still laying there. When I looked back I saw something that made me realize something that I had known for awhile, but didn't want to admit. Paige was looking into Roman's eyes the way she use to look at me. I realized at that moment that even though I would always love Paige. We had past that time in our lives. We had moved on. She was with Roman now. I was with Becky. I heard the sirens in the distance. The paramedics got there first and pronounced Seth dead. Paige's torment was finally over. They checked out Roman. They loaded him in to the ambulance and Paige went with. I gave the police my statement. They gave me a ride to hospital to get checked out. Once i got there Becky ran out the hospital doors and into my arms. "You're alive" she shrieked jumping into my arms. It felt so good to kiss her. I didn't realize it until that moment but I was in love with her. "I love you." I told her She started crying. I love you too Dean." She tells me. We made our way into the hospital. Before I would let anyone check me out I had to know what was going on with Roman and Paige. After hours of waiting the doctor finally came in. "Roman is going to be fine. We repaired the wound and he should be back home in a couple of days." I breathed a sigh of relief. "What about Paige doctor?" "Her wounds as you know were very extensive." She started. I took a deep breath and braced for the worst. "She has a long recovery. Longer than last time, but I think with lots of therapy she will make a full recovery." She finished. "Thank you doctor. I looked at Becky. Everything was going to be ok. The torment was over. Paige was safe and Roman was alive. i leaned over and gave Becky a kiss on the cheek. We sat down and waited for me to get checked out. I sat there smiling. I know it was strange I was smiling, but I was the happiest I had been in a very long time. Everyone I love was safe. Everything was going to be ok. ♥
