Chapter 12

Seth's POV

I woke up to my phone going off. I reached over and rubbed my eyes to wake myself up more. It was John. Why was John calling me? "Hello" I said sitting up. "Seth? Where have you been? I've been trying to call you all night" John said. "Oh why? What's wrong?" I said knowing full well what he was talking about. "Someone beat up Paige pretty bad last night." "What!" I said trying to sound surprised. "Is she ok?" I asked really meaning that part. "She has a couple of broken ribs and a concussion, but she is ok." They kept her in the hospital over night." "Dean stayed with her." The sound of those words made my blood boil. "Oh that's good I guess" I said trying to hide my anger. "Do they know who did it?" I asked him cautiously. "Well no she can't remember anything about what happened last night." I let out a breath of relief. "Let me get dressed and I will be right over." I told him getting up. "Alright, there's something you should know." "What that" I asked. "Well Dean has this crazy theory that you are the one responsible for Paige's beating." He told me. "Thanks for the heads up man." I hung up the phone and started getting dressed. Great so Dean thinks he has it all figured out, huh. I heard movement behind me. Shit. I thought. I completely forgot Foxy was here. "Hey, Fox."  I said nudging her. She woke up and rubbed her eyes. "Everything alright?" "John just called. Paige is in the hospital and she doesn't remember anything." I told her putting my shoes on. "She doesn't remember anything?" So what does that mean?" She asked me. "It means you need to go." I told her bluntly. She looks at me with shock. "I told you that I love Paige and if she doesn't remember then that means I can still have my career and her." I told her putting my hair in a ponytail. She gets up and gets dressed. "We can't be seen together." I tell her. "I know baby." She says wrapping her arms around me. I throw her arms off of me. She loses her balance and falls onto the bed. "Geez!" She yells at me. I ignore her and grab my keys. 

Dean's POV

 I was sitting in the chair just watching Paige sleep. She is so beautiful. I never wanted to leave her side again. It was the only way I could ensure she would be safe from him. Paige started moving. It took me a minute to realize she was having a nightmare. Suddenly she sat up. "Noooo!" She yelled. I sat up and grabbed her into my arms. "It's ok Paige." "It was just a dream." "You are safe." I reassured her stroking her hair. Her cries grew silent and she finally looked up at me. I just stared into her beautiful brown eyes. She stared back into mine. "Thanks." She said still staring into my eyes. I wanted to just grab her into my arms and kiss her so bad. I knew I couldn't. She started to lean in towards me and I realized she was leaning in for a kiss. "P-p- aige." I managed to whisper out. I didn't want to stop her. "Oh my god. I am so sorry." She apologizes backing away from me. "No don't apologize" I told her. "No I am such an idiot. What was thinking?" I'm with Seth." She tells me. Those words killed me. I knew she didn't remember, but I knew that Seth had hurt her. I just kept quiet and smiled at her. "It's fine. You've been under a lot of pressure." I told her taking her hand. She smiled back at me. Just then the door opened. It was Seth. Paige instantly pulled away from me. I stood up and made my way over to him. "What makes you think you can show up here?" I growl at him. "This doesn't concern you." He growls back at me. I fell my hands clench into fists. "I suggest you get out of my way!" He snarls at me. "What are you gonna do beat me to a pulp too." I say to him instantly regretting it. I hadn't said anything to Paige yet about what I knew happened to her last night. "You have no idea what you are talking about." He says pushing me. I push him back an before I know we it we are rolling around on the floor. I punch in the face. I get the upper hand and start wailing on him. I hear Paige yelling at me to stop. If only she knew I was doing this to protect her. I thought punching Seth again. I feel strong arms throw me off of Seth. I look up and see Roman. "Roman?" "What are you doing here?" I ask him shocked. I look over and see Seth starting to get up. "I came to check on Paige. I heard what happened." What are you two fools sitting in here fighting in front of her for?" I look over at Paige. She is sitting there with horror filled eyes. "I'm sorry." I say to her standing up. "I will be right outside if you need me." I tell her walking out of the room while glaring at Seth.
