"Hey. Are you okay?"
I look up from my resting position and see Hoseok staring down at me with the look of concern.
"It doesn't matter," I plainly say, putting my head back down, resting my face inside my crossed arms.
"Yeah, it does," he answers, resembling a child as he nudges at your arm.
"I'm okay. It's not important," I say back.
"Aw. That's depressing th-" before he could finish his phrase, I stand up.
"I'm sorry to have ruined the mood here. I'm a little of a pessimist," I sarcastically say, gathering my belongings to leave.
"Don't go. If you're sad, let us cheer you up," Hoseok says, taking a hold of my hand to stop me.
"I'm fine," I start.
"Please~" He cutely begs.
"But-" I get cut off with his face coming slightly closer with pouted lips and fluttering eyes. "Fine." I give in, feeling the distant fluttering of my heart from the close proximity of his face from mine. Nobody ever wanted to get close to me, much less, my face.
"Yay!!" He squeals as he embraces me in a hug. "We'll both be friends forever and ever!" He obviously exaggerates but the sweet reference and the unfamiliar feeling of what I feel is love causes my heart to pound again.
This is what happiness feels like.
I feel a slow smile creep up to my lips, the smile on Hoseok's face is undoubtedly contagious, and I've caught the inevitable disease.
"Mmhmm," a sound of someone clearing their throat obnoxiously rings from behind me as I turn to see Taehyung with a seldom face that I am not used to.
"Wh-" I start before Taehyung interrupts.
"I'm taking Yoona with me right now," Taehyung says seriously as he takes a grip of my wrist and pulls me out the doors of the cafeteria.
"Where are you taking me?" I ask after exiting the doors of the cafeteria, stubbornly refusing to move my legs, resulting Taehyung to stop dragging me and ultimately halt his actions.
"It doesn't matter," Taehyung vaguely answers.
"Then I'm going back," I start to turn around again, but Taehyung puts his hand on my shoulder, making me freeze in surprise and slight discomfort.
"No. Not back. I don't like it," Taehyung responds, answer vague like all the rest.
"Stop it. You sound like a caveman with the few words you speak," I tease, but his stance stays tense. "What's wrong?" I ask.
"Spend time with me," He childishly responds.
"But- but your friends," I look back at the direction of the cafeteria which we are getting farther away from.
"You," he stubbornly responds, dragging me up to an empty classroom.
"Sit," He says, pulling a chair out from a table and taking a seat beside the chair he pulled out.
"Why can't we just sit and eat with your friends?" I question.
"Because Hoseok's there," he crosses his arms and crinkle his forehead at the seemingly unpleasant thought.
"Did you have a fight with Hoseok?" I am so confused as to why he's acting like this.
"Mentally," is all he says.
So he mentally had a fight with Hoseok? How does that work??
"Over what?" I can't stop my questions. The more Taehyung speaks, the more confused I get.
"Nothing. It doesn't matter," he answers then he pulls out his lunchbox that I never noticed him holding.
He pulls out a container full of egg fried rice and a pair of chopsticks.
"You didn't eat yet," he says then uses his chopsticks to grab some rice and holds it infront of my face.
"I'm not hungry," I say again.
"Eat," he firmly says.
"But I-" as I speak, he wittingly shoves the food inside my opened mouth and I have no choice to eat.
"It's yummy. I made it for you," and just like that, his mood brightened up to how it normally is.
