"seri! some of my friends are coming over." mark yelled from the kitchen.
"okay so what do you want me to do with that information." seri shouted from the living room couch.
"can you go get some snacks from the grocery store?"
"lemme think, um no."
"you can get something for yourself to." mark reasoned. seri blasted to the kitchen as quickly as she could. mark handed her some bills.
"thanks markie!" seri slipped on her shoes, stumbling while doing so, and strolled to the store.
once she was there, seri saw a familiar assortment of chips, candy, and drinks. "definitely need some hot cheetos, yes cola, ooh sour patch kids." she licked her lips in anticipation.
seri went to the self checkout cause she was not in the mood to make awkward small talk with a cashier.
seri skipped happily back. "mark! i'm back!" she screamed.
instead of her brother, she saw three pairs of eyes staring at her. one of them very familiar. seri's eyes widened in surprise. "oh my gosh, i'm so sorry, i didn't know that mark's friends were here already." she laughed awkwardly.
"seri!" jaemin exclaimed excitedly. seri was immediately engulfed in a hug.
"i didn't know you knew him." mark said surprised.
"i just met her about a week ago." jaemin replied.
the other boys introduced themselves. "so nice to meet you jeno and donghyuck!"
"so what's the deal with you and jaemin?" jeno questioned.
"nothing!" seri replied, flustered.
"what do you mean nothing!" jaemin said, "we've been married for 18 years! we have three children and a vacation home!" the boy exaggerated.
seri rolled her eyes, "suck my dick."
in confusion, jaemin said, "you don't have one."
"you don't know that." seri stuck her tounge out mockingly.
mark broke their quarrel, "you guys fight like a married couple."
"see! i told you we were married." jaemin laughed. seri just turned away from him.
the rest of the day consisted of the group making corny jokes, eating fattening food, and ramdomly singing. seri was content with the people she had around her. everyone just laughing and genuinely being happy made her content.
