seri was trapped in an awkward situation. that situation was in jaemin's arms. seri was stuck gazing at jaemin's deep brown eyes. she finally came to her senses and pushed him away. seri could see an awkward and disappointed look painted on his face.
"you didn't have to catch me." seri said cautiously.
jaemin looked away, "and let you fall, yeah okay." he said it in a sarcastic way.
jaemin wanted to speak to seri about the situation. he tried to talk but nothing came to mind. the words could not come out.
seri jumped the gun and spoke. "look jaemin, i hate this. i hate how we can't even speak. i hate how we can't look at each other. i hate how i can't even express my feelings to you because i'm way too shy."
jaemin stared at her in awe, "wait what was that last part?" his lips curled into a smile.
"oh my gosh. i didn't mean to say that." seri felt her cheeks burning up.
"but you still did. is it true?"
seri looked down shyly, "yeah i guess."
jaemin grinned. "so, seri, do you wanna date?"
seri looked into jaemin's eyes and nodded.
the pair walked on the cement path.
"how did we even make up with each other so fast." seri laughed.
"i don't know. maybe we're just meant for each other."
