seri's shoes hit the pavement as she was walking to school. it was a nice breezy day. not to cold, not to hot. in fact, cherry blossoms were already in full bloom. as seri was walking she thought about how beautiful the pink flowers were. the way fresh dew would fall off of them. how the petals were ever so delicate. if the flowers fell off they would fall gracefully. how clusters of them would bring such joy to people. seri appreciated the finer, smaller details. this is why cherry blossoms were her favorite flowers. seri hoped one day she could retain as much grace, beauty, and the simple ability to bring smiles to people's faces like these cherry blossoms.

the walk to school was a quick one, five minutes. seri excitedly walked with a spring in her step. of course she was not excited for tests and projects. she was excited for what the day had to bring. the sight of bright cherry blossoms had set her in a good mood.

all of her happiness quickly turned into annoyance.

"i found you! lee seriiii~" the boy said. seri rolled her eyes and continued to walk to school where the pair were greeted by the large entrance.

her fellow peer looked confused, "it's me jaemin! do i look different than usual?"

seri sighed and spoke lazily, "of course i know who you are but i just don't want to talk to you."

jaemin gave her a smile and continued the conversation, "now that i think about it, you don't really look like mark with a wig."

"thanks...i guess."

"you're even prettier."

seri was taken aback. she thought to herself 'he thinks i'm pretty? wait he compared my looks to my brother's? with a wig?'

seri's cheeks flushed with a pink color. as pink as the blossoms around them. jaemin looked at her satisfied.

"you're pretty, just like these cherry blossoms."
