Electricity
Scintilla
A single trace
Even just a hintSomething that might start a fire
A flickering flame
Cinder as a product of it
An ember, at leastAnything at all
For everything was in place
Almost like the universe
Impeccably fitting every square inchChirping birds are of company
Unblemished skies present themselves
Passionate kisses from the ball of fire
Compelling wind whirling to get closerHowever
All we found was a hypothetical spark
Being born from our minds
Not from the object that gives birth to tulipsWe almost had all we need
Borderline love story
A dearth of emotions were scattered
Still lacking
