#9- I just like him that much

You know when you're in a relationship
There will be a stage where
You won't be sure if you love him yet,
But you just like him so much

So much that
hearing his voice
Raises so much dopamine
Enough to make you high for a life time

So much that
The thought of being with him
Hypes you up
As if you were at rave party

So much that
Staring into his eyes
Reveal a reflection of your memories
That are yet to be made

So much that
His laugh echos in your mind
For days and days
Making you lose sleep over aching cheeks

And so much that
Long conversations
Are bearable with him,
Given your inability to socialize

You slowly realize
The coincidence that
You were both born
In the same generation

Subsequently thanking God
for that coincidence,
You got to meet your happy pill.
You secretly have a
happy dance inside your brain

But you pause
This shouldn't be happening
Then you hear it
That almost inaudible sound of your heart breaking

You fell for him.
