Rye knows I'm lying to him. He knows something's up. And I can't let him find out. But he's going to ask questions. They always do. Like I said before, they'll always ask questions, even when you ask them to stop.

But I don't know how to keep it from him. If I avoid him, that'll just make it more obvious. I don't want to lie to him. Honestly I want him to save me. I want him to whisk me away to a whole new world. But I know that's not realistic. This is reality. I'm stuck here until I have the money to leave.

I walked into work on Friday as per usual. I pulled on my apron and cleaned the counter and yada yada. People came in and people left, it was just like any other day. But I didn't see Rye. And it kinda hurt. It hurts that I've hurt him. I know I have.

Once I was finished with work I made my way over to the duck pond. If Rye isn't here then I don't know how'll find him. He's been ignoring my messages.

I walked into the park and looked over. I sighed in relief when I saw his mop of brown hair. I walked over and sat down next to him. Neither of us said anything. I sighed.

"Rye I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean to hurt you. But there are some thing that I can't tell you." I stated quietly. Rye stayed silent for a moment.

"I know that. I know you can't tell me everything. But someone hurting you is something you can tell me. I just want to help you, Andy." Rye looked at me. I nodded.

"It's just... It's something difficult to say." Rye wouldn't stop looking me in the eyes. And I couldn't pull myself away. His eyes were so alluring. I felt my cheeks go red.

"Why are you blushing?" He smirked and that made me look away.

"I don't know what you're on about." I replied, crossing my arms across my chest.

"Mm, sure you don't." He said sarcastically and I sent him a small glare.

"I'm gonna tell you this now." Rye stated and I frowned.

"Tell me what?" I asked and Rye gulped nervously, licking his lips.

"Who I have a crush on." He turned to look at the duck pond. My heart started pounding.

"Who is it?" I grinned. He turned to look at me.

"You."
