I woke up just as we pulled up into the car park of Mikey's flat. Rye was fast asleep, with his head leaning against the window. I smiled and removed my head from his shoulder, stretching my arms. I gave Rye's arm a gentle shove, and he stirred a bit but didn't wake up. I sighed playfully, a smile on my lips. I moved towards him.

"Rye babe, we're here." I whispered. I kissed his cheek and his eyes fluttered open. He turned his head slightly, a small smile present on his face. We both clambered out the car and gathered our belongings.

"It's not a huge flat, but it'll hold all three of us. I've had my two other best mates over plenty of times." Mikey explained as we walked over to the wooden door. Mikey pulled out his keys and unlocked the flat. We were instantly faced with a small flight of stairs. They were carpeted red with pale walls. I followed Rye and Mikey up. Mikey pushed open the door as Rye and I removed our shoes. I picked them up and squeezed past Rye, into the apartment.

Like Mikey had mentioned, the flat really wasn't that big. It was a long hallway and I could see only four doors. "The first door on the right is my bedroom. The first door on the left is the living room, which lead to the kitchen. The second door on your right will be your guys' room, and the door at the far end is the bathroom." Mikey told us, walking into the living room. I peered round the door. He had two cream sofas and a chair with matching curtains. The was a TV on the wall. In between the two sofas was a tall lamp and on the floor was a fluffy white carpet.

Rye walked in behind me and had a look around. "It's actually a really nice place." He took the words right out my mouth. It was warm and homely. Mikey smiled.

"Thanks. Hope you guys enjoy your stay." He chuckled. I grinned.

"Who wants a cup of tea?" Rye and I both nodded and Mikey turned into the kitchen. I walked back into the hallway into my new room, I guess. It was very bare, with a cream carpet, two single beds and a big-mirrored sliding walk-in wardrobe.. thing. I walked in and put my bag down on the bed nearest the window. Rye sat on the bed closest to the door. I looked out the window. There was a small garden, and I could see the neighbours garden too. There was a young boy on a trampoline.

"Are you excited to start our new life?" Rye asked. I jumped, as his voice broke me from my trance. I smiled lightly, and turned to him.

"Yeah. And there's no-one else I'd rather start it with."
