hola💛 hey it's me ashley back here to just give a really long rant on the title, under appreciated writing and writers.
under appreciated writing part uno okay so this basically came about because I was searching for new reads. Anyways, when I searched up wwe 2018, all that came up was just a bunch of stories that were kind of just...ehhh. So I try fixing the situation by putting in the tag, (wwe). When I did that, I looked through and I saw books with reads over 10-100K. If a book has that many reads it should be good right? Not in all cases. I see these couple of book and they have a ton of parts but every part is like about maybe 300-500 words max. How does a book with barely any story buildup get that many reads? Like it wasn't even an Instagram book and it got more reads than most of the good stuff on here. When I saw this I was just like what the hell? I go to a really good Nikki Bella book and it barely has like 500 reads like are you serious? Oh no but a shield book gets 95K and it's concept is as cliche as they come. Ugh it just like why would this be?
under appreciated writing part dos This second part is just me kinda going off...so beware I guess? Anyways, deadass I don't understand how a shield book gets that many reads more than a good Finn Balor book or a Becky Lynch book you know? Shit my book, Emotionless, has been up since the beginning of March & it has barely 200+ reads? I understand that there's a shitload of Balor books but like a Balor book that came out around the same time as mine has already 1K and its May. I just I can't believe that poor writing gets you more than 1K within a one to two month period? Poor writing should really be acknowledged or given that many damn reads when a good book from a good writer gets barely anything you know? It just pisses me off and makes me want to sometimes debate on whether or not I should delete a poor book because I know it won't make it here on wattpad.
under appreciated writers Now for this, I swear I just wanna go off to the point where I'll just call out those accounts but I'm classy and I don't do that kind of stuff. So writers here on wattpad, we all are unique in our own ways and write in our own style. However, it's just those accounts that have so many reads on their books but their writing is so poor that it gets me off. I understand that some people just get that many reads because they are either multi fandom, they...roleplay a lot, or they get promos from friends. Although that stuff goes on, how come the good writers barely have any followers you know? I'm not one to complain but I mean c'mon! Like there are these people who write so so well and really try to interact with their followers but nothing comes through. I for one just want writers who do actually commit to writing well and building up good stories just to know that they are appreciated and they aren't forgotten. Seriously like go show some love to those people because they're actually still writing even if their account gets no attention. Also if you feel you're under appreciated (I sorta feel that way but eh I've been here too long so I'm just grown to deal with it), honey things will get better and you know what maybe after this I'll start like some promo book or something so you can get your reads

At the end of the day, we're all here for the same reason and we should be able to appreciate the writing we do.
